"The Swing Things played my daughters wedding in July and it was brilliant. Marcus was brilliant to work with and all the players were just marvellous. The music was just what we wanted and got everyone on their feet and dancing. I would strongly recommend to anyone."

"Lovely people who make a great band. From first contact to playing on the night easy to get in touch with, friendly and responsive. They play an excellent selection of jazz and up to pop numbers that get everyone on the dance floor. Had great feedback from party goers saying how good the music was and I certainly agree. I have no hesitation in recommending them and would definitely book for any event where you want excellent live music. Thanks for making a great party fabulous!"

"Lou is a Brilliant singer, and has a lovely energy with a very positive attitude. Our guests and our self have enjoyed to hear her singing at Priscila' 40 birthday party. We strongly advise to book her. In addition, she is very discrete and extremely polite."

"Well what can I say. It was perfect. The three guys were the perfect start to a 40th birthday party celebration (that ended at 4am!? They were friendly and professional plus excellent musicians pitching the right music at the right time ending the sets with the party on their feet dancing. Would like to thank them for making the day a special one that everyone enjoyed fully. Kindest Regards"

"At Todmorden Lamplighter... OH MY WORD can they play! They're a dirty bassline with a stupid smile on it's face. Seriously funky brass, seriously well chosen crowd pleasers that, y'know, please the crowd! I am SO glad I booked them. So, so much fun. :)"

"Thank you immensely for the absolutely superb performance at Ratho Parish Church. The success of a wedding relies so much on background music and Scotland Strings certainly excelled in that regard. Personally, Gill and I missed out somewhat as our arrival, by dint of normal bride and father custom and practice, occurred in the late stages of your performance. However, our guests spoke very highly indeed of your presence and delivery and raved of how the quality enhanced a momentous occasion. "The trio played at a reception for our son's barmitzvah (but it could have been any party/reception) - they were brilliant. Lovely to deal with beforehand and they created a great sound that really helped the atmosphere. Would definitely use them again! "

"Stereo Jazz Collective provided exactly the blend of music we were hoping for to entertain a fun loving mixed age group at our 50th wedding anniversary. It offered rich entertainment while allowing guest to converse and mingle - and later on the opportunity for hitting the dance floor, even at our advanced age! We would happily hire them again and recommend them to our friends."
