"What lovely guys. What really set them apart was how naturally they engaged with guests. They read the room perfectly, adjusted their set on the fly, and created moments that felt personal rather than staged. People were smiling, singing along, and stopping them afterward to ask where we’d found them. Professional, flexible, and genuinely fun to have around, this band elevated the entire atmosphere of our wedding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for live music that feels fresh, interactive, and memorable."

"Thank you so much Kirsty for amazing live performances you have previously carried out for us at our 2019 engagement party in Wooburn Green and most recently our Little Marlow church wedding ceremony and follow-on reception drinks at Old Luxters Barn in Hambledon. You played our chosen songs beautifully and were so helpful in the run up to our day. It has been such a pleasure getting to know you and hear you play (multiple times now!) and you really are my go-to girl when it comes to any events which need the best music. "The BV's performed in June 2016 at my parents Golden Wedding celebration and we couldn't have asked for better. Their playlist was excellent and fitted perfectly for the occasion. They set up up promptly and were excellent at involving my parents and the younger guests appropriately making it a very special and enjoyable evening. I actually can't recommend them any higher!"

"We booked this quartet for our ceremony and post-wedding drinks reception and they were one of the highlights of our day! Their extensive repertoire meant that we could enjoy our favourite rock, metal, film and Disney songs in classical format, and we had many guests commenting on how much fun they had listening to them. We wanted to walk out of the ceremony to the Island song from Adventure Time, which had never been arranged for a string quartet before. This was no trouble for Kim and her team who were able to put it together in a matter of weeks. I cannot recommend them highly enough!"

"Oh what a night it was! Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio was the perfect choice for a celebration. They chose dances that matched the skill and enthusiasm of my guests. Setting the right pace is good when lots of guests belong to a running club! Guests from Hong Kong, Greece, Vietnam China and USA had no idea what they were coming to … The band arrived on time, setting up easily and Phil’s friendly manner of instruction was just right. My 6 year old niece (who is VERY shy) shocked her mother by joining the dancing! Lovely comments from guests: “I haven’t danced like that in years” and ” The most fun and dis-organised chaos I’ve had in ages!”"

"This event was a sell out for us and we always have a fantastic time with this Country Duo. If you like Country music, you should check this act out. Highly recommended and we will hire them again for sure. "
