Review Centre: DJ's & Mobile Discos

"Hired the 'Ultimate Party Bundle' to use with our own decks, mixer and radio mike for a wedding (speeches and disco). Equipment was delivered and set up on time and provided great sound and lighting. The package was ideal for the marquee (about 90 guests). Lights and speakers were in excellent condition. Basement Hire answered all my questions in advance regarding connections, cables etc. "

"DJ SAMMY B with OM on guitar have played and wowed at a number of 'Plugged Inn' events. The two-man live looping DJ set was absolutely mind-blowing, combining Hendrix's shredding, Prodigy's beats and a performance incomparable to anything of this world. Oh!.. AND THERE'S A THEREMIN! Thoroughly recommend this act! "

"I can’t say enough good things about the DJ/percussion combo at our wedding – it completely transformed the night! The live percussion added a dynamic vibe that really got everyone on the dance floor, and the music was spot-on all evening. The performance felt so interactive and elevated the whole experience beyond a typical DJ setup. The guests are still talking about how much fun they had, and the energy was incredible from start to finish. Everything ran smoothly, and the attention to detail was clear. It was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding day!"

"Well, where do we start? From start to finish Raphael was absolutely amazing! We turned up at the reception venue and he was already set up and playing (as it was a surprise wedding gift from me to my husband) and he just totally entertained all of the guests throughout both of his sets with many Of the songs previously requested. All of the guests said what a lovely guy he was too! It was also lovely that he chatted with not only us but many of the guests afterwards. What an absolute gent! We would absolutely recommend Raphael to anyone moving forward! 10/10 from us! "

"We just wanted to write to say... Wow! Rob is awesome! To quote me from the day...'Wow Rob, your voice is so dreamy...If I wasn't already getting married... I'd have married you!' He was so good that our guests thought we had a CD on! Apart from that, he looked great, he was on time, professional and just fantastic. You should be really proud to have him on your books! "Kirsty was an amazing DJ. I just turned 13 and I had a party, all my friends loved Kirsty and said how good she was at her job. They said the music she played was a great selection which managed to please the parents and the younger children as well. Thanks to Kirsty all my friends are talking about my party and will be until my next one .. (Which, of course will be including Kirst)."

"DJ Murray did such an amazing job DJing at our Wedding. He always kept the crowd on the dancefloor and got all the guests to engage with the music. He listened to what we wanted and adjusted according to the crowd. Our guests were very complimentary of the music. Time flew by. Many thanks for creating the best atmosphere on our wedding day, we couldn’t have asked for better. We would highly recommend DJ Murray and hope he can play at our future events! "

"AMAZING! We booked Nick to perform at our wedding and all we can say is… AMAZING! The vibes were immaculate. Nick felt the room and catered the music to everyone’s taste. The karaoke was brilliant and had everyone up dancing and smiling from ear to ear. Highly recommend Nick for all of your needs! Will definitely book again."

"The day after our wedding just over a week ago one question that kept coming up was.... 'Where did you find that band?!' They were awesome from start to finish. They knew that we were having a festival themed wedding and really added to this, getting so involved with the whole 'Gibsonbury' element, and putting on a fantastic show. No one wanted them to leave the stage and we could not have been happier. The whole booking and planning process was effortless also, with Lindsay, the band manager on hand for all queries and advice. Wish we could relive the night again and would thoroughly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a wedding band and or great party!!!"
