"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Viv’s 50th Birthday Ceilidh – January 2025 We had an amazing evening. Dan, Ned and Heather were brilliant. Firstly Dan was incredibly helpful and reassuring when I spoke to him a few weeks in advance. He was very relaxed but also incredibly reassuring that it would be fun and go well! He was very warm and I felt ‘everything would be alright’! They came very promptly and set up very unobtrusively. The music was perfect and Ned was a fantastic caller. He drew people in so well and had a very relaxed manner, he made it very enjoyable. Dan on the guitar and Heather on the fiddle were excellent! We had a fantastic evening of dancing with them. So many of our guests commented on how they made it such fun. They made it a great success. I highly recommend them."

"I booked DJ Kyle for the opening weekend of my pub restaurant. Absolutely nailed the brief with a tailored playlist really making my event vibey and consistent with the theme I had planned for the opening. Very easy to work with. Punctual. And well presented with great quality equipment."

"Your repertoire of music was exactly as we requested. To please such a wide age range from 10 year old to 80 year old is some achievement. You also managed to include some songs that Bob and I requested !!! Lots of our friends and family commented on how they enjoyed the music. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you. "First of all I would just like to say a massive thank you from myself and my wife Jorjia for accommodating us at short notice for our wedding at which you recently performed. Not only did you have to arrange new sets due to the 1920s theme of our wedding with a week’s notice but you also had the pressure of performing in front of the television crew knowing that it would be aired in front of 1.8 million people on the popular BBC television show ‘Don't Tell the Bride. Honestly you were unbelievable and there were endless comments throughout the evening on the beautiful singing voice of Carly- the lead singer who took the whole evening in her stride and embraced the stage like the true professional she is. Unbelievably talented and seamless throughout. Professionalism and showmanship! We will be forever in your debt and will not hesitate to recommend you to everyone and anyone. From the bottom of our hearts… Thank you! "

"We booked Vernon for our wedding on the 24th April 2015 and he really was fantastic, we had pre arranged what music he was going to do off his playlist. We corresponded by email and had no problems with contacting him and he arrived on time for our evening reception, he set up and played straight through until about 10. We found his own music very good especially his song (see that girl) he made the evening fun and got us up dancing, our guests loved him and enjoyed his music, Vernon is a friendly talented musician and we would book him again or recommend him for a wedding or party. Many thanks Vernon"

"I was lucky enough to catch these guys at a public gig, as soon as I heard and saw the energy that went in to their sets, I knew this was the band for mine and my wife's joint 40th. From the first enquiry these guys were obliging and easy to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. The party was great fun, aided by Acquiesce, their sets on the night were great, full of energy and they had everyone up dancing. Following the party we have received loads of great reviews none more so than my wife who, hadn't heard Acquiesce prior to the party! We would like to say a big thank you for making our party and hopefully you are still rocking for my 50th bacause you are booked!"

"Me and my partner Chris were searching for somebody to perform at our Wedding. We had been exploring our options and were considering a couple of vocalists who we thought were ‘okay’. Then we came across Ryan and we knew ‘this was the one’. We couldn’t have been more satisfied with him. His advice was extremely useful and we made the right choice having him perform both during the breakfast and the party. He truly is a stunning artist and booking him for your Wedding will be the best choice you make.”"

"Me, my husband and all of our wedding guests absolutely loved Joe performing around the dance floor alongside our DJ - in fact, no one can stop talking about him! Joe was not only amazing on the saxophone, he was so lovely “work” with and kept great communication with me from my initial enquiry right the way through to our wedding day. Adding a saxophonist to the dance floor is a magical combination. I am so glad we found and hired Joe and would 100% (and highly) recommend him. Thanks! "
