"My family traveled from the U.S. to Inverness recently, among a few other stops, hoping to visit some ancestral sites specific to our family lines. I was having trouble finding a tour guide, and the idea hit me to see if I could find a local Piper...thought even better if they were a Fraser like me....literally contacted Spud at the last minute, and he was happy to oblige. Far exceeded our expectations!!! I told him to feel free to come casually dressed on such short notice....his Highland attire was incredible! And his musicianship was outstanding...in America we would say this guy has some "serious chops"! Graced us with several wonderful tunes, and was as charming and witty as all of the other reviews mentioned. He is first class all the way!!! He turned an occasion into an event. He made our experience feel epic. You instantly feel like a friend to Spud when you meet him. And he was full of hilarious stories and quips. If you're a "yankee" and need a Piper in America or the other side of the pond....do yourself a favor and contact Spud....you will not be disappointed, and he will add so much class and fun to whatever you have going on!!!! Cannot say enough good things about this guy...a consummate professional and such a winsome and personable fellow. "

"You were AMAAAAAAZING! Oh my goodness – we, and literally all our guests, were totally blown away by your incredible performances. We wanted to get in touch to pass on our heartfelt thanks for taking such obvious care and time preparing our incredible day – we had sooooo many people ask us how we knew you. They thought you were a friend of ours which is really lovely testament and reflection on your energy and love you put in to the whole day. I hope lots of them had a chance to tell you themselves (I just apologise we didn’t get enough time ourselves). You were absolutely perfect for our beyond perfect day, and thank you from deep in our hearts. Really hope you enjoyed yourself too, as that was very important to us. "Thomas is a great saxophonist. He is reliable and very professional. He played at my husband’s 40th birthday..It was perfect..Nice music which set a classy mood of the evening while having a meal, requested songs was spot on and very affordable. Thanks, Tomas!"

"Vernon was awesome. He knew exactly what we were looking for and delivered. He wasn't precious about his time, he was charming and approachable. But more to the point his music rocked! Lots of cover but some of his own stuff - which was amazing. We had a great evening with him and we will definitely be booking him again. My advise is... book Vernon Fuller for your party!"

"The spectrum played at our wedding in October at The Blakelands. They were amazing on the night and in the lead up to our wedding. James communicated very promptly from my first enquiry. I was so pleased they offered a DJ option too so the party would carry on in between sets. With this, and after watching you tube videos of them we decided to book the band. Our first dance song wasn't a song the band knew. They learnt it for us and performed it brilliantly on the night. Our guests also selected a song they wanted playing on our rsvp's. This was passed to the band / DJ and they happily incorporated this into the night. On the night the spectrum were amazing. They play at The Blakelands regularly so they set up very quickly and without hassle. Following our first dance they got all our guests up and dancing. The atmosphere was brilliant. The floor was filled until the very end. I would highly recommend them."

"Guitarist Iago adds a warm toned melodic solo full of poise, restraint and a neat vibrato. He’s very much a feel player who solos within the contours of the song rather than just cranking out endless solos, as he switches from straight lead guitar to slide and back again."
