"Julia was the perfect choice for our wedding day and I’m so glad we hired her. Her performance was beautiful and brought the ceremony together perfectly. It was especially meaningful that she was willing to play a very special (but rather obscure) song to us, as I walked down the aisle. I wouldn’t have ever chosen anyone else for this moment, and am very grateful for her!"

"Hired Stevie Scott to play at our wedding reception 15th Feb at Fenton Tower. He was amazing and I can honestly say made the night a blast. If your looking to hire someone for any occassion then look no further. He got everyone to their feet and all our guests commented on how great he was. Thanks again Stevie "

"If I had to describe Davey in one word it would be OUTSTANDING! He played our wedding ceremony, reception, meal right up until our evening guests arrived. All guests commented that they thought we were playing a CD until they saw him tucked away in the corner due to his amazing vocal and guitar skills. Davey was brilliant from the get go from organising what/how we wanted things, to on the day being helpful and having a good chat with all of our guests who commented on his friendly manor. We weren't sure if to have him at first as we thought it's just another expense, is it worth it? Well the answer to that is YES! 100% one of the best choices we made for our wedding day. So glad we used Davey and I would recommend him to everyone! Thank you again xxxx"

"The music was superb, the mix of repertoire perfect and the musicians jelled so well together, with great tempos, dynamics and arrangements and the backing vocals were superb. We all figure that the music on Sunday night was just about as good as it gets! World class!"

"Well what can we say about George that gives him the credit he deserves. My wife and I had the pleasure of him singing all day at our wedding and what an impact he made! Everyone loved him and were raving about him, saying he was the best musician they had heard and asking for his details for their celebrations. As well as being and incredible musician he is also the most lovely person and a real pleasure to have at your wedding. At every stage George was both professional and super helpful making sure our day was exactly how we wanted it and on the day he was so calm and performed so effortlessly. Everyone was on the dance floor at our wedding and that was due to George and his incredible band! Thank you so much for playing such a massive part in making our day so unforgettable for both us and our guests! You’re a star! 100% recommend George and the band for any special occasions! "We had a garden party recently, where John played a mixture of tunes for three hours. Everyone loved his playing, and he created a great atmosphere with his professional presentation. We will definitely ask John back again in the future. The accordion is a superb instrument to listen to, and extremely atmospheric. "

"Duncan very kindly played at our wedding in June 2017. It was a beautiful sunny day and we were therefore lucky enough to have him playing outside where all of our guests were gathered as well. It was beautiful music and nothing too intrusive or loud. We chose the modern playlist with a few 'classics' in there so there was plenty of songs in there that everyone could recognise and we received several compliments from our guests about him. I would have no hesitations in recommending Duncan for your wedding or events. :) Thank you again Duncan! Hannah and Jamie x"

"The Shakesters played at The Departure Lounge cafe for the cafes’ 10th anniversary and it couldn’t have been a better choice of bands. The weather was not on our side but the band managed to get everyone dancing and keep the atmosphere lively and fun. They have a unique style which fits the cafe perfectly. We’ll definitely be keeping the band in our minds for any future events."

"Henry was a pleasure to deal with throughout, and the band were great all evening. They took into consideration our music tastes when making the setlist and learnt some new songs that we had requested. All the guests commented on how good they were and the dance floor was full all evening. We cannot recommend them highly enough."
