Review Centre: Bands with DJ's

"We booked Radio Dukes for our wedding back in June, and it was so refreshing to deal directly with a band! Mitch was really friendly, helpful and responsive from the beginning. We booked quite late in the day (our engagement to wedding process was only 5 months long!) but Radio Dukes certainly delivered on the night, playing a number of songs we’d specially requested, Reef: Place Your Hands, complete with a couple of lyrics changes so it became first dance material :) Red hot chilli peppers: Can’t Stop, which everybody loved. And not forgetting B52s: Love Shack which our friend and female vocalist got involved with, thank you! The dance floor was full all night, with something for everyone, from grandparents to work colleagues, to friends on space hoppers. We’ve had so many compliments since, so thank you Radio Dukes for your fantastic music! May you have a joyful, gig-filled 2019! X "

"The Fireflies provided the entertainment at my recent birthday party and were such a crowd pleaser! Every person that attended was on the dance floor for almost every song. The band were very accommodating and even changed their set times to fit in with the weather and crowd! I would have no hesitation in booking them again."

From the day we met you have been so inspiring to me and that is what gave me the strength to make the night perfect. The ambience that was in the air due to the music was amazing. I know I did the ground work for the party but it was you guys who made my dream come true. Thank you so much! Also please say thanks to your singer again who danced with my sister in law, it meant alot to me. "Elephants in the Room were amazing! Peter was great to deal with from the start. Very accommodating and the band didn’t disappoint either! Excellent song choices and they brought a great energy to the party, Peter being great as the front man and getting everyone dancing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. "Fabulous sound for a three piece. Impeccable vocals and harmonies. Terrific and eclectic mix of songs that get a crowd up and singing or bopping. Also very nice to see a stick bass with an acoustic and electric guitar combo. I thoroughly enjoyed their sets as did a packed audience!"

"We had a fantastic day thanks to the Hot Hats. Their music was watched and enjoyed by everyone attending the wedding. All our guests thought they were brilliant. One said he couldn't think of a better way to spend an afternoon than to watch and listen to the Hot Hats playing. We would highly recommend them for any event. Thank you again!"

"Groove Central were incredible! Such an awesome bunch of talented people and every single one of our guests were up on the dance floor busting their best moves all night long! We did not want the party to end, they were totally awesome and the best band we could ever have hoped to have. They raised the roof and blew us all away. We want another party now just so Groove Central can come too! We love them! "

"“The Hot Hats have provided entertainment at two of our company BBQs. They first played live entertainment for us at the very grand Clevedon Hall in 2015 and we did not hesitate to ask them to play at this year’s event. This year they performed for us at the equally grand Leigh Court near Bristol, to help us celebrate our recent Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation. Both events were fairly intimate with around 50 guests attending and they provided the perfect background music to both. They played three 40 minute sets with an intermittent playlist to keep the atmosphere lively. Their chilled yet professional approach and happy song selection was perfect for a sunny afternoon. Thank you both for bringing the party, everyone had a great time!”"

"A thoroughly excellent band! Extremely easy to deal with, happy to be flexible to our requirements and to respond to the atmosphere in the room. The boys really helped to make an electric atmosphere after what had been a pretty full on day for our participants in the Bowmore Ben Nevis Challenge."
