"We asked Ceol Beag to come and play for an event in Gateshead where most people hadn't Ceilidh'd before. The band did an amazing job of getting everyone involved - the reviews of the evening were amazing from everyone who came. I would highly recommend asking Ceol Beag to come to your event."

"The Hornbrokers were a well needed icebreaker for our event as it was made up of 3 different branches who were rather reticent to socialise! The band got amongst everyone and instantly people started dancing and chanting along! "

"David was a fantastic entertainer at our carol service. He was proactive in helping pull the event together and a brilliant host on the evening itself. His piano playing was excellent, and his introductions to each piece were engaging, warm and entertaining, adding real atmosphere to the event. I would wholeheartedly recommend him for any social or celebratory setting."

"I cannot recommend Jan enough, from start to finish. He communicated on a regular basis about the genre of music and collaborated with my DJ to prepare for the evening. Jan really got the party going , he created a brilliant atmosphere on the dance floor which got everyone up dancing. Finally not only is he professional in his approach but he is an amazing saxophonist, I would highly recommend to anyone for their party. "

"Hi Paul, Please could you pass on my thanks to the whole band who were absolutely superb on Saturday. For many it was the highlight of the evening and brought back memories of their service in the Caribbean.My only regret is that I couldn't spend more time listening and dancing but I'm sure there will be plenty of other opportunities. "Highly recommend Sean. He was thoroughly professional. His music was a great mixture and to everyone's taste! Feedback was amazing!! I asked him to sing a song which he learnt before hand. "Well, we went along to the Clutha benefit gig in The Classic Grand, there were such a choice of great bands to choose from on 2 floors, The Mrs & I were downstairs as it was mostly rock bands and we had a seat, so the bands changed again & again until I heard the next band was a Ceilidh band, quite a few were looking around sort of laughing as if how’s this gonna fit in with the night, so there's now quite a few people sitting down waiting, so on comes as expected the usual accordion, fiddle,drummer & guitarist set up, and then it began, the accordion started then in came the fiddle then this electric rock guitar and ass-kicking rock drum beat, and low and behold before you know it everybody's on their feet standing poking their heads up and down to see who the hell was making this amazingly blended sound of rock & Scottish folk, the accordion player’s fingers were impossible to track as they rolled up and down the board, and the fiddle was just about glowing to match, topped off with a great guitar and drums, with bits of Pink Floyd through to Miley Cyrus flung in, hard to believe but true, and all served up for your ears to savour at 100 mph, the whole place became electric, it was amazing to listen to and stunning to watch, I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed this band, We got talking to David (the accordion player) and his family afterwards and found him such a laugh & such a nice family, highlight of the night, so thanks to The Shooglers your time & talent is very well spent and it shows cheers. "

"Mike has been playing with us for a few years now at The Brunch & Cocktail Club in Liverpool, he is always professional and never disappoints. He is a great local talent who is always engaging with the crowd and knows how to play to the room, amazing guitarist and has perfect vocals for a chilled venue! We highly recommend him to everyone! "
