"Sophie Holliday is a refreshingly natural stage presence, singing to you like she's sat speculating with you at a house party. She write lyrics like a conversation and I finish all of her gigs feeling like I've had a deep chat with a good friend. It's a unique experience in a world of long distance "sounds" and she connects with you even through recordings of her songs, bringing you right back onto the sofa, listening to heartfelt stories of everyday life and modern folk poetry."

"We had such a great time. Ned did a great job leading us in the dances. I should really say "exhausting us", but the number of people coming back for more showed how much they loved it. Each band-member is a fine musician in their own right but blended together they were fabulous. I would not hesitate to book them again."

"I just wanted to thank you all so much for Saturday night. Honestly you were the absolute highlight and everyone spent the evening coming up to us saying how amazing you were! Also, all the correspondence we've had throughout the organising has been the best of any supplier we've used! I know there was a bit of chaos with the food- I hope you guys weren't effected by that! And I hope the kids weren't bugging you too much! I will be recommending you to everyone and anyone! When we go into the bed the last thing nick said to me was "I loved the band- they're such cool guys". Ha ha- he couldn't remember anything about the night so you obviously did a fab job. Thank you so much."

"My husband and I would just like to thank Ben for playing at our wedding in Bristol on May 1st! He was absolutely fantastic! We had so many people tell us how great he was. Ben was extremely professional and we can't thank him enough for making our day so perfect. He was very easy going and friendly, my only regret is that I didn't get a chance to speak to him as much as I would have liked to! Thank you Ben! "I hired The Cheers for my wedding and they were absolutely fantastic. Not only were they incredible on the day, with so much energy, exceptional performances, and friendly vibes, but they were so flexible and practical leading up to the wedding. I really appreciated how approachable and communicative Ben, the Band Manager, was and how he made me feel that we could figure out some of the practicalities as the wedding plans chopped and changed. A superb band, well organised, professional and got everyone on the dance floor every minute they performed. I would recommend to everyone and will be using The Cheers again, no doubt."
