"Laura played at our wedding reception and my oh my did she get the party going! We had kept her a secret from guests until straight after our first dance and the energy she gave really made all the difference to our evening. Guests kept commenting to us that it was too good to even stop to get another drink or to have a break from dancing. She was amazing at communicating which songs would be good for our DJ to play alongside the sax and it was a real pleasure to have her there on our wedding day. We couldn't have pictured having a sax player more perfectly. "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – James and May-Kate’s Wedding Ceilidh – April 2026 We enjoyed having Black Velvet at our wedding party to play two sets of Ceilidh dancing. The guests thoroughly enjoyed dancing to the music after being taught the dances. Even our four year niece joined in with some of the dancing! The band were prompt to set up and we enjoyed the live music. James Battle-Matthews"

"I asked Becky to play whilst I proposed to my girlfriend and it couldn't have been more magical! Becky was so easy to communicate with throughout the process of arranging the day, and she learnt multiple personalised songs for us that couldn't have been performed any better! We were blown away by her performance and we've already asked her to return to play for our wedding. She has such a kind and welcoming vibe and has such a wonderful tone and voice. "Ian and the whole band were absolutely fantastic, we couldn’t have asked for a better group than Spark Up Band for our wedding. They arrived right on time, were completely professional throughout the evening, and brought incredible energy to the dance floor from start to finish. The band was super flexible and happy to take lots of song requests, which made the night feel really personal and fun. Their crowd control was spot-on too — even managing to gracefully handle both the bride’s and groom’s musical fathers who were very keen to join in! Most importantly, they’re just incredibly talented musicians with a great sound — tight, dynamic, and full of life. We’d recommend Spark Up Band to anyone looking for top-notch live music and a fantastic atmosphere."

"Sam was outstanding at our recent wedding. I would have no hesitation recommending Sam. We booked Sam for afternoon Ibiza style session and for our evening entertainment with Dj. He did not disappoint, constantly had everyone on their feet. We had so many comments from our guests about how good he was. Thank you so much to Sam, it was exactly what we wanted."

"We booked Vicki for our wedding fairly soon before the event via lastminutemusicians.com. What a find, she was excellent in every respect, easy to deal with before hand and on the day blew everyone away with her beautiful music during the ceremony and then during the drinks reception after.
