"Island Sounds spent an afternoon with my family (group size 12) for a private workshop. They were punctual, flexible and a lot of fun. As it was a surprise for my mums birthday, she will now never forget 'Happy Birthday' being played to her on the steel drums, an instrument she has always wanted to play. I would highly recommend them for your next event! "

"Daniel, I would just like to say how much we enjoyed our wedding after party, especially by booking the band. We have met many times in the past at other events and as you know, we booked our wedding date around the band, making sure you were available. If you ever need any recommendations, please don’t hesitate to ask either of us. We wish you all the best and we will probably see you at another bash in the near future. We cannot wait!"

"I went to a private party the previous Saturday and heard Kevin playing I was so impressed I asked him to play at a private garden party the following Sunday We had approximately 30 guests and he played for 2 incredible hours Everyone thorough enjoyed the entertainment and have been asking for his details all week He is an excellent musician and knew exactly what tunes to play for his audience as it was a mixed age group I would not hesitate to ask him to play again and I’m sure some of my guests would also like to book him An all round excellent performance with a pleasant and very likeable personality If I could give 12 /10 I would’ve Can’t wait for my next occasion to invite him back "

"We had a brilliant time! It was a very hot day and the band were very accommodating, adjusting the playing times and breaking up the dancing with songs. There were only 30 of us, but everyone danced and several people commented on the quality of the music. The band even played “Waltzing Matilda” for the Australian contingent, who all sang along! Thanks very much BVB for making my party so special."

Hi Zivile, Thanks so much for your thoughtful message and for sharing that feedback—it’s really appreciated. I’m so pleased that the DJ set hit the mark and that everyone ended the night on such a high note! Also really glad the addition of a full PA gave the event the punch it needed. It was such a high to see 600 people on the dance floor during the DJ portion of the evening! I’d be happy to speak with the agency about better distinguishing our Brazilian and Latin offerings on their site too, to help guide future bookings more accurately. I want to say again how much I appreciate the opportunity to contribute towards such a special evening.
