"We hired this band to play background music at my sons Christening after party. They were amazing!!! They welcomed the guests, played relaxing jazz music and even dedicated a song specially for my son which was so special - (Wonderful World, Louis Armstrong). Thank you so much - we will be hiring you for our next babies Christening for sure!"

"Dear Katie, thank you very much for your great performance on my husband’s birthday party. Your are really talented and your song choices are brilliant. I got so many messages from my guests to pass it on to you saying that it was a really a brilliant performance. I would highly recommend you for any party. Since it was really a last minute decision for me to look for musician, you were really prompt with your communication and make my life easy. Again thank you very much for all your help and definitely I will contact you again for our next party. This time will be for my birthday. I hope you will be able to help."

"Ball was a great success again, and definitely an improvement on last year with you guys back on the stage. Everyone I have spoken to after the event commented on how good you are and how you sense the mood and keep everyone dancing, so thanks again for a top night. I'm not sure I'll be involved with organising next year's ball, but whoever does will want to book you again. "

"The band were absolutely fantastic; the music was superb, the caller for the dances just bossy enough to get everybody up (exactly what I wanted), they arrived on time, were set up on time and were friendly and helpful and entered into the spirit of our event. I couldn't have asked for better. Thank you so much."

"Our event took place on the 1st September 2023 at Horwood House. Nigel performed at the ceremony. The ceremony went off well and Nigel played beautifully for this special wedding ceremony. The ceremony would not have been the same without him as he added that special touch. Nigel was patient with us in deciding the choice of the songs and was very professional. Thank you Nigel, the bride and groom were so pleased and our guests really loved it and there was so much praise for how well you played. "

"With Groove Primitive you can tell that they are dedicated from the first bar, but they also are fun, with a sense of humour. The funk is tight and the rockier songs have soul. Shay’s vocals are strong and she’s backed by some great players. I’ve seen them in bars and clubs, but could imagine them on a journey to filling much bigger venues in the future. Highly Recommended 5 stars – for entertainment and musical virtuosity. "
