"It’s No' Reel Celidh Band played at our wedding ceilidh in September 2014. Our party was relatively small, consisting of about sixty guests from different parts of the UK and abroad. Far from everyone was familiar with ceilidhs, but went away with a wonderful and unique experience, largely thanks to the professionalism, beautiful musicianship, and kindness of the band. From the very first contact, months before or wedding, to the final packing-up after the ceilidh, It’s No' Reel kept surprising us with their willingness to help. We were aware that some of our requests (we wanted to use some of the time on the night for a performance with our drumming group, and we each liaised with them when planning surprises for each other) were somewhat unusual. Not only did they provide a lovely ceilidh, patiently encouraging people to take part, and with a good ear for the mood of the party, but they were more accommodating of our own ideas and visions than we could have hoped for."

"I just wanted to take a moment and send you a note of thanks for the performance thatJock Rock turned in on July 1st at our daughter's wedding. We have all seen bands that simply mail it in and go through their sets as if they justwant it to be over with. The energy and enthusiasm that the band generated at our reception was simply infectious and you ignited the entire crowd into a wonderful frenzy. The Scots, Brits, Irish, Americans and others in our audience had the best time ever and couldn't tell us enough how much they loved your performance. But in addition to showing us that you are world-class entertainers, I was also very touched by your humanity. We are an extremely close family so in all candour it is sometimes difficult for me to have my daughter live across the pond where I don't get to visit with her as often as I can with her two sisters who live in the States. Her favourite song is Somewhere Over the Rainbow because it speaks to her in a very real way. We were disappointed when we learned that the band did not have that song on your playlist because we thought that it would make the Father/Daughter dance is so incredibly meaningful. One of the greatest surprises of the night was when we realized that you had taken the time to learn the song and played it for us for our dance. You took the time and effort to emotionally connect with the bride and her father on her special day and we can't thank you enough for that. "

"Richie played a wonder set for us at our wedding party last summer, we had arranged a disco as well, but because we all had such a wonderful time singing and dancing with the great play list Richie performed we never used it! His equipment is first rate too! A fabulous day made even better by live music by a talented musician, we would highly recommend him to everyone and just need another party soon so we can all sing and dance along with him again."

"Southwestband were truly incredible at our wedding!! We had seen them play last year at our friends and thought they were fab and that we just had to have them at ours! They have been nothing but helpful in the lead up to the big day and learnt our first dance song when we changed it not long before the day! To put it simply they were everything and more! "From initial booking to the end of their performance this band were professional and friendly, and we knew they had everything under control! Everyone was so impressed by the band, and the singers voice was amazing! They played two 45 minute sets, one during the dinner to create atmosphere and then the second to get everyone up dancing! The singers ability to read the atmosphere and to choose songs accordingly meant I felt at ease throughout the night with such a professional singer."
