"Jan played at the ground breaking event to mark the start of construction of the JDR Cables factory in Cambois, near Byth, Northumberland. Jan is a very professional and affable man who was punctual, smartly turned out and played excellently! "Helly and Andy are simply brilliant, one of the highlights of our wedding, every guest said how much they loved them. We both love music and having them play a couple of chilled afternoon sets was perfect, even if we did hog the requests a little, which was not an issue for them :-) Looking for an accommodating, friendly, chilled out but professional band with a great sound? You just found them!"

"This Concert was absolutely amazing. Gareth was entertaining and informative whilst happy to answer questions between each piece and involve the audience. He is so very skilful in what he does and appears to have a vast repertoire to suit all tastes and genres. I am going to keenly look out for Gareth's other Performances and will definitely be recommending him to all I speak to. I even purchased one of his CDs and it is fabulous!"

Tashara you were amazing... had everyone up dancing & singing from start to finish and was most definitely part of the party - the set list was perfect! "If you read only ONE line of this review...BOOK THE VINTAGE VOCALIST FOR YOUR EVENT! From the initial phone contact with Paula to her saying goodbye on the day, our time and experience was 100% positive in every way. My wife and I were able to choose from a huge set list of songs from various musical era's and genre's and Paula seamlessly organised all our favourites into a cracking party playlist for the wedding reception. By the third song, she had guests up dancing and by the second set, my 86 year old Auntie (who walks with two sticks), was throwing her shapes on the dance floor! Paula absolutely made our wedding day! We had guests from the age of 7 to 86 and we can honestly say that each and every one of them loved Paula's performance. Many spoke to her themselves to thank and praise her and many more told us how impressed they were and that they'd be either booking her themselves or would attend venues she'd be performing at in the future! Paula looked stunning in her classy vintage dress and her fabulous voice entertained our party and the local York residents, who sat out on their apartment balconies with a drink to lap up the free entertainment! What makes Paula so special, is that she instantly felt like a friend and a guest, not a singer we'd booked for our wedding entertainment. Her warm, open and down-to-earth personality, instantly puts you at ease and she has a brilliant Yorkshire accent and sense of humour! I loved that as I returned from the bar with a drink to keep her refreshed during her break, I found Paula sat amongst all my family, laughing and joking. We felt happy to see her enjoying the day with us and confident that our entertainment was in good hands. Our 8 year old son was desperate to sing a duet with Paula and we loved how accommodating and kind she was. Some artists would be precious about their professional set being gatecrashed unexpectedly, but Paula embraced the request and handed him his own microphone! Our family really liked and admired her for going with the flow and making the day special for everyone. So if you're considering booking The Vintage Vocalist and need a little persuasion to choose this incredibly talented Yorkshire lass, let me leave you with this... I showed my son the official wedding photo's and laughed at how happy he looked on his photo's with Paula and he turned to me and said... "What you laughing at Mummy?...I was living my BEST LIFE that day!!" I think coming from an 8 year old boy...that says it all."

"We hired Charlie to play solo guitar at our wedding reception, and it was fantastic. The music created such a beautiful atmosphere — elegant, heartfelt, and perfectly suited to the moment. Professional, easy to work with - we couldn’t recommend him highly enough."

"Matt performed solo for us on our wedding day (Friday 20th December 2019). We got married at Haarlem Mill in Wirksworth and had our reception at the same venue so Matt played/sang during our ceremony (including learning the song I walked down the aisle to), during our drinks reception, during the meal and then learnt a new song for our first dance as well. It must of been a really long day for him but he was amazing throughout and our guests are still raving about him. He created a great atmosphere throughout the day but especially during our wedding breakfast, you could immediately notice the huge difference the second he started playing, it made the meal feel so much livelier and upbeat. Matt even had people singing and swaying along to his singing whilst they ate their meals (plus he had all the kids up on the dance floor before pudding even arrived). He was friendly, helpful and polite throughout the booking process. Everything was streamlined and easy so we had no stress or concerns before the big day and we thought he was very very reasonably priced in comparison to similar acts. We'd 100% recommend Matt and we'll certainly hire him again for future events. Thanks for being part of our big day, you were amazing! Mr & Mrs White x"

"Julia recently playing at my Wife Grandfather's funeral who sadly departed us. The overall level of professionalism, compassion and manner of Julia was unbelievable. Julia played her beautiful set of bagpipes and escorted the funeral hearse to the doors of the crematorium, where she was dress fully in traditional Scottish piper uniform looking incredibly smart and eye catching. She then played the coffin into the crematorium where the coffin was on display and the service began, just before the end of the wonderful service Julia then played the beautiful "Amazing Graze" as the curtains was shut and my wife's Grandfather was laid to rest. Julia's music hit the heart strings of all the family and friends make us weeping tears of sadness and remembrance. On behalf of the family and friends I would like to thank you for a beautiful service as a lone piper who made the day special. Recommendation 10 stars !!"
