"Antony was booked for a SUPRISE party for our uncle who turned 80 on Saturday. He was very professional and set our party off with a bang. He has a great talent and all our guests could not stop talking about him afterwards. I would thoroughly recommend him for a party for any occasion, and will definitely be using him again in the future. I couldn’t recommend him enough. He is truly amazing."

"Wow! What an incredible band! They had all of our guests up on their feet and dancing the night away. An incredibly professional, talented group and the set list they made was absolutely perfect for the vibe we wanted. Could not recommend them more! "I found Laura through a local music agency when I was considering the possibility of providing l music to our guests before our marriage ceremony and in the pre wedding breakfast period as a surprise for my husband. I was charmed be her manner when we first spoke. She instantly understood the mood I wanted to convey. She has an extensive repertoire and was able to provide music that absolutely fitted my ideas. I was a little concerned that it might be difficult for her to be heard outside but her amplification system was perfect for both indoor and outdoor performance. I would love an excuse to hire Laura again- we enjoyed her playing so much and our guests were so complimentary about her music. It was just perfect. I mean every word! "My brother recently died in Australia, and my remaining brother and I couldn't attend his funeral, as like so many other people during these troubled times. We returned to our brother's birth-place, in Lancashire, where there is a family vault, laid flowers and asked Malcolm to play two of my brother's favourite tunes. It was a most moving moment, not just because of the pipes but because of the kindness shown to us both by the piper himself. Although it was a brief ceremony, it was conducted with dignity and consideration. "

"Would just like to say a massive thank you for playing at our wedding on 9th July you made it truly wonderful. We had so many comments on how wonderful you were and how you added that finishing touch. You played the songs we requested and even acquired and learned a couple more at our request which was fantastic of you and really made the day (especially seeing as one of them was a different version of the Bridal March - the day would not have been the same if I had had not been able to walk down the aisle to this.) I would definitely recommend North West String Quartet to anyone wanting to add a beautiful, elegant musical touch to their special day! The music was so beautiful it brought tears to people's eyes and I am only gutted that I missed the majority of the music at the reception due to being outside having photographs taken :-( Thank you again so so much!"

"June and I would like to say a massive thanks to you guys for making our wedding day so special. From the first song to the last you guys were incredible. Everyone has been commenting on how great the band was and that means a lot to us. We put our faith in you on the biggest day of our lives and you did not disappoint. I think I can safely say that it won't be the last time we see you. Anyone who reads this should get themselves along to a The Business gig and if you're lucky enough to be getting married I would struggle to think of a better band to play on your wedding day. "We hired Cameron to play at my sister's funeral at All Saints Church in Slingsby, Cameron turned up early in full regalia, piped my sister into the church to Flowers of the Forest, piped her out of the church to Highland Cathedral and finally piped the hearse for first 100 yards away to When the Battle is Over, can't praise Cameron enough, quite outstanding!"
