Review Centre: Soul Bands

"We absolutely loved the SW Funk Collective (or Solar Funky Music - not sure what you’re actually called as your website has a different band name to LMM!) at our wedding. Not only did they do all the simple stuff perfectly (i.e. turning up on time and setting up efficiently with minimal invasion) but their performance was also fantastic. A truly cohesive group of talented musicians who not only do the Motown and funk classics of the 70s proud, but also curated a set list based on our preferences and learnt a song not normally in their repertoire because it mean’t something to us. Their performance was energetic and tight, and no effort was spared (including bringing and playing a slide whistle for just one song). I have already recommended them to several friends for their upcoming weddings. "

Everyone was coming up to me asking where I had found you, they all loved you. One of the highlights of my wedding was dancing to Backstreet Boys before heading over for the wedding breakfast. "We booked them for our wedding and they were amazing! We would definitely recommend them. Very talented musicians, tight, exciting set from classics to up to date tunes to get everyone dancing! They communicated to us the whole time through, when we had to keep changing the date due to the pandemic. The interaction with the audience was fantastic! They were kind enough to let me play my saxophone to surprise the groom and guests. They made our evening reception so special! Thank you!!"

"Relative Cool were Incredible! Hired them for our wedding and everyone loved them. They offer a great song selection and even learnt a few songs we asked them to perform. Definitely recommend if you want a live band for a great party! They kept everyone dancing through-out the entire evening. Would hire again!"

"The Urban Knights performed at our wedding last week and they were amazing! Got everyone dancing, played so many hits and were amazing musicians. "We had booked the Mustangs for our wedding on the 10th March 2018 and what can we say... well they were amazing from start to finish. We had over a hundred guests at the wedding and everyone commented on how amazing they were. So many people were up dancing! The only regret we have is that we weren't able to dance more!
