"We had the band at the evening reception at our wedding last week, and they were amazing! Everyone was up and dancing throughout the night. They also played our first dance song which was incredible. So many of our guests commented on how good the band were. Also very good communication, and everything was on time. Would highly recommend."

"The band were amazing we could not be happier! We booked the acoustic duo for our drinks reception which set the scene perfectly for our chilled atmosphere and we have the 5 piece band for the evening to get the party started! Everyone was on the dance floor - I just wish we could do it all over again! Thank you so much guys!"

"Just back from honeymoon, had a wonderful time, thank you! I was going to write to you anyway as we would like you to pass on a huge THANK YOU to the band. The band were absolutely fantastic! They played our first dance perfectly and really got our party started and kept if going until midnight! They played all our favourite stuff and our guests loved them. I wouldn't hesitate to book them again and will recommend to anyone who asks. Hope I get to dance to their music again sometime soon! Huge thank you from us! "Firstly, thank you so much to The Covered, you were amazing! Thank you. xx The initial enquiry was promptly responded to. We traded a few e mails and a phone call, I got a sense from our first contact that you were approachable, friendly and passionate about delivering the best performance you could for your client. On the day of the event, you were present at the venue nearly 3 hours before the start of the performance. Whilst I struggled with helium balloons (I now know I could never be a children's entertainer!!) I could see and hear how much attention to detail went into the preparation for your performance. I think it's worth mentioning that your sound engineer, Ivan, is an absolute expert. I felt very lucky to see and hear your passion as all of the band prepared for the performance. During the course of the set up, I had the opportunity to catch up with individual band members. You were all so down to earth and friendly it really set the scene for an inclusive and friendly evening. Coming on to the performance. Stunning!! Incredible and stunning. The stage backdrop was very attractive and complimented the performance. The drums! Super fantastic to watch and hear. There was so much to see and hear from The Covered, all of it fantastic! One of the guests told me later, "The band were great, certainly the best I have heard for many years". To be fair, the compliments for your performance were non stop. If you are reading this review as a potential client, don't hesitate!! Book this amazing band before they get snapped up. Lastly, thank you John, and thanks to your band, your sound engineer and your backing vocalist. We had such a heart warming family celebration at which you were the front and centre. "The Hot Hats were thoroughly professional from the word go - seamless booking process, and very well organised when it came to both the setup and the timings on the night. The performance itself was brilliant, both ourselves and our guests loved every minute of it and it was a pleasure to have them play our first dance for us. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough! "We were absolutely over the moon with your service and performance at the Dulwich College 400 Anniversary Black & Blue ball. You all looked very smart, but Rock’n’Roll, in your black shirts and jeans; your setting up and help with the boys’ big band ( kindly letting them use your drum kit and amp) was seamless and last but not least, your sets were outstanding! The song choices were spot on, as you clearly know what gets everyone going. You may remember, we struggled to get the guests to leave the dance floor when the end of the evening was announced. If we hadn’t had to finish at a certain time, due to residential area and license, we would have had you play until daylight! We received many compliments, on your behalf, from guests’ feedback and will not hesitate in booking you again for any future parties."

"We absolutely loved having you guys there and you definitely got the atmosphere right. We had a lot of comments that people loved the music during the day so a big thank you for that! Also, our guests LOVED having a band for the ceremony (rather than the traditional harpist or flute players). Our only regret is that we hadn’t booked you guys for longer or for the evening too! "A MASSIVE thank you to these guys for their incredible performance at our wedding they were amazing, and we had so many comments from our guests about how great they sounded. So so talented and they made the whole evening perfect, exactly what we had in mind for our wedding so we’re really over the moon we found them. Lewis was really helpful and communicated brilliantly to find out exactly what we wanted, and was so accommodating right the way through. The whole evening was so relaxed and fun, and we and our guests were up dancing and enjoying the music until the very end. And an extra thank you to the guys for accommodating my uncle’s impromptu rendition of Highway to Hell - that will be a memory we will cherish!"

"An amazing bunch of lads that allways give there best to every event, I have seen them countless times and I intend and seeing them more in the future. One of the best bands I've seen live! On par with my other personal favourites such as the Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, The Killers and Kaiser Cheifs. The lads play every gig with huge amounts of energy which spills over into the crowd making every gig something special. This is evident with the huge following they have built up over the years."

"Dale & the band.Thanks for making Mike & Lisa’s big day special. Without your music the whole day would not have flowed as beautifully as it did. The musical collection (and the way we could choose our favourite tunes) was excellent and catered for all the different tastes on the night. All the guests loved the range of numbers which were played in a very professional manner and the night just went too quickly. We’d certainly recommend you again to anyone wanting a live band for any style of future event. Best regards Jon & Cath Baines --- My husband Mike and I were extremely happy with the funky tunes which Funk ‘n’ Soul did at our wedding. Everybody commented on how good they were which was great to hear. What was  really special though was that the band sang our first dance – Al Green ‘Lets Stay Together – which was AMAZING!
