Review Centre: Party Bands

"When Tom and I got engaged, the first thing my dad did was announce we were having a band and booked LickSquid. My dad had regularly seen them at gigs and could not sing their praises highly enough! He was not wrong!! Initially LickSquid liaised regularly with us leading up to the wedding to ensure that the evening was the way we wanted it. We discussed our first dance choice which they were happy and eager to play! They were also regularly contacted by my dad and stalked I believe at other gigs requesting they learnt a couple of tracks for the wedding, and they did not disappoint! At the wedding they performed amazingly, our first dance song was perfect and myself and my dad were really impressed by the songs they learnt which dad had requested. What makes them such a fantastic band for your wedding is not only do they play incredibly but their engagement with our guests was brilliant. All I can say is that I was on the dance floor all night, and boy did my feet hurt in the morning!! Thank you so much guys for making our wedding rock!!!"

"I've wanted to try live music in our little Country pub for the longest time and Lucy and Jack were so great I'll definitely be having them back again and again. Engaging, entertaining, and had people up dancing all night. Can't recommend enough!"

"Wow! What can I say? The Medley Doctors were off-the-charts brilliant! I arranged a surprise party for my wife, which was intended to bring together her family and closest friends to celebrate how fun she is. The Medley Doctors delivered an exceptional performance, everyone loved them and were dancing throughout the evening. There's often a lull during a party, but the energy created remained so high all night and that was down to the talented duo and their well-prepared act. They are brilliant musicians but also way more,: they read the room and entertained us with personal touches, funny transitions and a genuine warmth and desire to make the party a success for us. Josh was great to deal with during the planning, he was really flexible, helpful, organised and relaxed. There were no egos, just a genuine appreciation that the party wasn't all about them and he went out of his way to make it special for my wife. Thank you guys, you've helped create many lasting, very special and funny memories for our friends and family! I would highly recommend The Medley Doctors. 10/10."

"So many things to say about this band completely took our entire wedding by surprise with the quality of music they produce, by the neatness of every member and the fact they were on par with everything we had asked for. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better band on the day!!! Several of guests will be in touch soon as they want you to play at theirs as well."

These guys are one of THE best we have ever heard and the crowd interaction with the dance off was incredible and everyone was talking about this for days after. "Exceptional experience. Was expecting a band and ended up with new friends. Had 'Rhythm Rebels' perform at a charity event to raise funds for the Scottish Charity Air Ambulance. They were very understanding and accommodated my requests. Not only did this event bring old friends together for an amazing time but £1000 was raised for the SCAA. Once again thank you very much for making this possible and traveling a 1000 mile round trip to make it happen. Hopefully, we can make this happen again in the future."

"We used Embassy for our Captain's Gala night here at West Herts Golf Club, they kindly stepped in after a change of date for our event due to the restrictions in place and were very accommodating to our needs. Their repertoire of songs was very extensive, covering a wide range of cover songs which they really made their own. They were well received by our guests who varied in age, the dance floor was full all night. We have already booked them for next year and would highly recommend them. "

"The Blue Suede Shoes gave an outstanding performance at our engagement party and were instrumental in creating the great atmosphere enjoyed by all. Their professionalism was displayed throughout and we had endless feedback from our guests on how good they sounded. Everyone was impressed by them. They compliment each other perfectly and we have of course requested them to play at our wedding later this year!"
