Review Centre: Rock Bands

"This isn't even biased because they were our wedding band - House of Chords are THE BEST!! The response to them on the evening from our guests, as well as the feedback we've had, was phenomenal!! We're a month down the line and I still have friends and family reaching out to either comment on how much the band rocked, or to ask for their details! There was a full dance floor all night, literally! Such a great selection of songs, building up the momentum throughout the evening to an amazing final set and send-off! Our first dance wasn't on their repertoire but they still absolutely smashed it which set the night off perfectly! Just amazing, I can't really put it in to words, but thank you Mike, Andy, Ant & Ric for being the most amazing wedding band and making our reception the absolute best it could have been! Better than we could have ever dreamt of! I would not hesitate to recommend them - if you're thinking of booking, do it now!! You will not regret it!"

"We were so happy with the service we received from the band on Saturday night. Thank you so much. First class customer care. The singer arriving early in the morning to set up all of the sound and lighting equipment as we had requested. All very professional and accommodating. The band members were all a pleasure to deal with. Skilled musicians and entertainers who are able to adapt to their environment. They were SUPERB. From the beginning we had excellent communication from the band regarding timings, playlist etc. On the day everything was seamless and we had rave reviews from our guests! "Despite the adverse weather conditions (snow and ice) the Golden Valentines turned up promptly, set up efficiently and gave a fabulous high quality performance with great music We really enjoyed the evening and dancing. The audience was mixed ages from 20 to 70+ but everyone knew the songs and were very happy with the selection and the performance The musicians were of a very high standard and it was great to have live music "

"“We were delighted with the Hot Four, who we hired for out Vintage-style Wedding. Selecting a band was tough, but the Hot Four’s history and their ability to play vingtage-style won us over. I got goosebumps listening to the lead singer online and knew they were the right choice. The band played one vingtage set and one modern set, and we were blown away by how many people got up and danced right from the start! The vibe was a perfect fit for out wedding, rhey set up before dinner and performed flawlessly throughout. They learned a new track for our first dance and, on the day, they were accommodation in shot]rtening it slightly on our request. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better band. They truly made our wedding memorable, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for talented and professional musicians who specialise in a vintage style. Thank you the Hot Four! "

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"Loretta and the Groove Stars absolutely blew us and all of our guests away and made our party. It was clear from the quality of their flawless performance that they are serious musicians. Loretta perfectly understood our tastes and crafted a perfect set to take us through the night and get the party moving. They injected creativity and personality for a truly original and memorable 40th party for my wife. We couldn't have been more pleased. Loretta was even kind enough to help me organise the timings to include events like the birthday cake, making life so much easier. Even the venue commented that they were one of the best bands they've had perform. These guys are a cut above, would throughly recommend. "
