"I had Vicki play for my birthday party this year, doing 2 sets one with backing tracks as we wanted some Ibiza anthems and then playing covers of songs with guitar and singing. It was a very enjoyable evening."

"I have just started writing out thankyou's to all the people who made our day so amazing. The whole day was just wonderful and even the sunshine made an appearance! Our evening reception was just fantastic, everyone had a great time. The Spectrum kept in contact with me and helped me through timings, they know what they are doing! I didn't want anyone left out and the band played their sets with that in mind, full of fun and musical passion! It is stressful choosing a band but don't hesitate, this band are great!  "

"We would like to say thank you again for playing at our wedding last month, you really added something special to the celebration. From the earliest planning stages it was very important to me that we would have a piper playing some of the tunes I knew from all the Highland Games my dad took me to as a youngster. I had the window open in the room at the hotel where I was getting ready so I could hear you clearly. You were brilliant on the day, going above and beyond the call of duty throughout, and were glad we chose you. It was very good of you to stay on as long as you did. We hadn't even considered being piped into the meal, but it was a lovely way to introduce the next part of the day. Very best wishes, and thanks again. Neil & Anna. PS: Thanks for "Hector the Hero". (Hector the Hero was composed by Neil's great grandfather, James Scott Skinner, in 1903. Maj Gen Hector MacDonald who joined the Gordon Highlanders as a private soldier was his friend. PL.) "

"I am a singer songwriter working throughout the north of England. One of the names I often encounter is Chris Tavener. He is praised by promotors and audience members alike for his professional manner and he is clearly delivering an act the punters wish to watch. I have only seen Chris perform once and his songwriting impressed me so much, I downloaded his EP which is well produced and recommended if you are seeking an introduction to a young songwriting talent. He is an interesting witty performer who is avoiding the obvious and will no doubt prosper because of it. "

"Spud made our wedding into the fairytale it was! So much so, we still keep in touch!! His skills coupled with his sense of humor makes him one of a kind! I swear Spud, if you don’t come drinking with us in 2020 (when we come back to Scotland for our 3 year), then I’m deleting this review and writing you a bad one! Hahahaha "

"What a fantastic day! Getting the right music is one of the most important factors when planning an event so we were so lucky to be able to hire Kit for our golden wedding tea party. There were songs to suit everyone’s taste and who doesn’t like to hear a good saxophonist on a lovely sunny afternoon! Nothing but compliments and happy faces and would definitely like to use Kit again."

"Andy was booked purely by pot luck and wow what a performance, I only wish I'd booked him longer than the 2 hours now! An amazing singer, great vocals, professional and a fab play list too. I'd highly recommend and would most definitely book him again, thanks Andy! "

"Bobby is an incredibly dynamic performer with a strong voice, always captivating the audience from the get-go. Not only does he have a wide range of genres up his sleeve, he is also a great dancer and is very comfortable in front of a crowd. Cameron is a very talented guy who seems to pick up any song straight away, gifted at an obscene amount of instruments due to his natural musicality. His guitar playing is no exception to this. Both of them are absolute professionals in everything they do, making for a pleasant and easy experience working with them."
