"We thought Down for the Count did an outstanding job and so did all of our friends and family. Everyone could not stop raving about how great the music was. Honestly, we wouldn't have changed a thing and were so impressed. Most of all, it was so special to hear New York, New York as a closing song and we really appreciate your initiative to create those extra special touches for us! Without a doubt, we would recommend Down for the Count to any other friends getting married."

"For the biggest day of my life I knew I needed someone special to provide music - from the very beginning, Gemma was friendly, easy to talk to and professional - dealing with my requests before the big day. Her amazing voice filled the room, they sang a good variety of songs to suit everyone. Their performance will be one of my best memories from the day, bringing everyone together on the dance floor! Whether it’s a chilled-out afternoon set, or a lively Saturday night, Paul brings great energy, brilliant crowd interaction, and a fantastic mix of songs. His enthusiasm, professionalism and ability to connect with a wide variety of audiences make him a pleasure to have performing at any venue. Not only is Paul extremely talented, professional and enthusiastic, but he also has impeccable manners and timekeeping. He is always polite, respectful and reliable, and he constantly gives 100% to every performance. "We had the Kemptown Hot Club performing during an informal but very important dinner with prestigious guests. All the members are very talented as well as extremely kind and friendly. They tried their best in especially difficult circumstances, for sure their participation, patience and incredible great mood really made the difference in our event."

"Rafael was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process of wedding planning. We saw his music list and knew he’d get our vibe straight away. Not only was the performance really good, the communication from start to finish was great. Rafael planned the whole day of music - welcome drinks round the pool, background songs for dinner and then got the party going in the evening with some great songs and our guests loved it. A mixture of current and old school! Travelling over to France could have been too much to ask for with the uncertainty of the pandemic, but that didn’t stop him and we were super happy to see him without any mishaps of travel on the day.
