"We asked Tim to play at my son’s party in Brockenhurst and he was brilliant. The choice of songs was attractive to all ages and they really set a party mood and got people on the dance floor. He played happy birthday when the cake came out and we all sang along. He comes highly recommended. "

"Rosie and Martin performed at our opening night in the gallery i co-run in Trowbridge, Wilts, they were everything we hoped for!, they really helped make the event feel special for us and our guests and didn't even complain when i asked then to move to different rooms 3 times during the evening! "Bessie’s life in blues brought back to life. Some performers deserve to be known by more than their work. Bessie Smith won fame as Empress of the Blues in the 1020’s, but there was more to her life than money and fame. She died in 1937, but 80 years on a good sized crowd were held rapt at the Thunderbolt as Dave Merrick narrated her life story, from a ragged upbringing in the American South, with the help of original recordings. Bessie shot to fame because her unique vocal style could cut through the limitations of 1920s recording technology. But it was the live performances the Totterdown audience were waiting for, and Natalie Davis on vocals, with Dave on guitar and Brenan Whitmore on saxophone did not disappoint. Renditions of I Need A Little Sugar in my Bowl, and ‘Taint Nobodies Business If I Do made the magic of Bessie shine, from the slow paced blues of the 1920s to the syncopated swing of the 1930. . the show had the audience rapt. - Paul Breeden, South Bristol Voice (May 01, 2017)"

"I booked The Covered for my 40th birthday party. Communication with John was excellent from the start. They arrived when they said they would with everything they needed. They asked to change the location in the room I had selected which turned out to be the best idea & made for a much better atmosphere. The music was brilliant & had us all dancing the night away! I would thoroughly recommend The Covered, thank you John & the gang."
