"To hear the bagpipes was so emotional for everyone given my Mum's Scottish background and all those that attended her funeral commented on how lovely it was to hear the sound of the bagpipes coming up from the car park and to see you in your beautiful attire. What made it even more special is that you come from Kirkcaldy and my Mum was born in Kelty so both from Fife."

"Amazing! Had the pleasure of hearing Rich blast the tunes out at a family wedding last night. Was a small intimate private wedding due to covid restrictions etc But what a night we had! Rich was prompt, friendly and professional throughout. Quick set up and we were all dancing the night away. The variety of music was exceptional from the golden oldie classics to dance floor fillers with a bit of techno thrown in for good measure. Would thoroughly recommend, in fact I'm in the process for booking him again for another celebration later in the year. "

"I would just like to say a very big thank you from my sister Sandy and I. We thought your playing on Friday, despite the drizzly weather, at our Mum’s interment was excellent and just right for the occasion. Your warm up in the car park while everyone was gathering was an added bonus, it brought a smile to our faces as people arrived and everyone thought it very appropriate. Then leading us to the graveside and the music played throughout was so good it lifted the occasion to another level. Virtually everyone commented on you and what the pipes brought to the occasion, nothing was too much trouble from preparing and selecting the tunes ahead of time and on the day itself you made a difference, the day will be remembered by everyone who was there.Thank you."

"John played for my grandfathers funeral and was excellent, very well turned out and was ready and waiting for our arrival at the cemetery. A previous conversation with John about what we would like played was met with enthusiasm and ideas that far far exceeded anything we could of thought of. Everyone commented how John’s contribution gave a perfect send off to my grandfather. Definitely one to keep contact details for. If I could give more than 10/10 I would. Thank you "

"Thank you so much for playing the bagpipes for us on the 18th October 2019; it was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding! Tom was very surprised along with all the guests - and I only managed to let slip the secret a few times! We're still waiting on our wedding videos and I'm very excited to watch my dream of walking down the aisle to bagpipes all over again. "Ivan was amazing, a true gentleman, very professional and full of character, he lead the procession from Whitstable Harbour which was leading 100,s of children who had made lanterns at schools for the event. Coming through the town was fantastic with him leading and culminating at St Alphege Church where he played some additional songs on the Church forecourt including Amazing Grace to the crowd of 1000,s. Ivan stepped in the day before the event and on behalf of the Whitstable Chamber of Commerce. and we cannot thank him enough for his friendly professionalism throughout. He put everyone at ease and as one of the organisers I can only praise him for his professional friendly approach. Please feel free to publicise our comments, and look forward to seeing you lead next year's procession in 2015. "
