Review Centre: Christmas Bands

"I reached out on lastminutemusicians in a desperate search for a band to lead our parade, with just 5 days to the event. Eugene responded within an hour, mentioning price, and that they could assist us at such short notice. During subsequent correspondence with Eugene, and on behalf of his band, they indicated that they were enthusiastic and motivated and interested to support our event which was great. It was extremely welcomed as we had no band for a major event with just 5 days to go, and we were so relieved thanks to Eugenes help. On the day they performed fantastically and the members of the parade and event attendees enjoyed the music. I'd highly recommend Eugene and his band."

"The quartet played beautifully throughout, adding so much to the day. We especially enjoyed listening to the gorgeous Dorchester string quartet while we waited for the bride and later while we drank champagne in the sun. Arriving in good time to make an early start and playing until we were ready to eat. True professionals. Thank you all so much. "

"I cannot recommend Bowfiddle Strings highly enough. Their trio performed during our church ceremony and our garden reception, and it was stunningly beautiful. Their wide repertoire from classical to modern created such a magical atmosphere that really made the day. They were incredibly professional and a dream to deal with - a huge thank you for making our day so special."

"On a day of great uncertainty about the weather, it was a pleasure to work with band to make sure our garden party had the right musical ambiance. They found just the right feel for the event, playing with very high standards and finding just the right music. I would be love to hear them again, whether in an informal setting like our party or on stage at a concert hall. "

"From day 1, Stargazers were incredibly helpful in the planning stages. They consistently tried their best to overcome any issues along the way which was most appreciated. On the day itself, the group far exceeded our expectations and we received comments from most of our guests about the band. I would FOR SURE recommend Stargazers for any function that you may have. They were worth every penny and more!!"

"Really pleased with Bowfiddle Strings. They played at my party as guests arrived and managed a modern twist to my eclectic taste in music. Dealt with Laura, who organised it all for me. Made suggestions that were great, as I had no idea really idea to begin with. Would use again and have already been to a concert that they have played at. The quality of playing was / is splendiferous, and we had many complimentary comments made about Bowfiddle Strings at the party."

"We just wanted to very belatedly get in touch to say a huge thank you to you and Dorchester Strings for your beautiful performances for our wedding on 7 May. We had so many compliments on the day and since, including about at what a difference it made to the atmosphere. Everyone loved the ceremony music (even if it made so many of us cry!) and the impact on the drinks reception was just wonderful. We hope you could hear everyone up top clapping as you finished! I brought your CD and really look forward to watching your FB page more updates. I'm a DJ of over 41 years (started in Redhill and traveled far) and only two or three times in that times have I been stopped by sounds (by choice) in the street by buskers.
