Review Centre: Bands with DJ's

"We waited a few days to write this review on account of all of the clearing up we’ve done since our Wedding party. This is relevant because it means I am not writing this on a high - it’s objectively true... Audio Riot have been literally phenomenal from day ONE of enquiry. Their communication has been faster than anyone I think we’ve ever worked with. They put solicitors, practitioners, contractors and even accountants to shame in terms of their promptness and professionalism. I cannot stress this enough. We were left with no questions, their user friendly communication and questionnaires answered questions we didn’t even realise we had yet. Their communication between booking to event date was regular and friendly. This took any stress we could have had in planning a band away - meaning we could concentrate on everything else to plan. On planning: our wedding party itself was amazing. The band - namely; Ian - coordinated everything for us! Cutting of the cake / first dance / blessing - everything. It was like having a showbiz, extremely talented musician also acting as an on the night events planner! The show set up was WAY above what we expected. The lights turned our hall into a legitimate show - and it seemed like they managed to do this without any interruption all the while playing some great music to keep our guests entertained. Oh my goodness - they were PHENOMENAL on stage. They had the people dancing ALL evening. I don’t think I’ve seen 3 encores at a wedding ? - but it was at least 3 plus DJ sets that only inspired more dancing and singing! The only regret is that we don’t have another event lined up that we can invite them to play. If anyone is looking for an extremely good band, excellent performance, fantastic taste in music, the friendliest of people and next level professionalism - these are your team. Thank you Audio Riot for putting the magic into our special day. Honestly couldn’t have asked or hoped for more. With thanks and love, Louis and Stacey Chavannes"

"I have been to two of Matthew’s shows, and both myself and my nanna have had a fab time! Matthew is an amazing entertainer, and an even better singer. I would certainly recommend him for all occasions!"

"Jamie was amazing! He played great party songs that got everybody up dancing. He was accommodating if anyone had a request and was just such a great act. We would definitely have him again. A great asset to any party!"

"Jolly Polly & the Pirates are fan-bloody-tastic! They do an excellent gig and the songs had us all singing along. We all loved you being here and if we could have got away with it, we'd have had you playing all night. Looking forward to the next gig in October!"

"We hired J.B.MAC to play at a party full of 17 & 18 year olds who were all ready to let their hair down before their dreaded exams started! They are a fabulous upbeat band and Nora’s voice is quite incredible with an excellent selection of tunes to get anyone in the party mood whether it’s a room full of youngsters or us oldies! We all had a fantastic time and we would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a good party with lots of dance tunes to get the night going!! They are incredibly professional to deal with and were all set up in good time before the rowdy bunch of youths arrived. If you are wanting a great party atmosphere at your bash then get JB Mac to play for you."

"Mitch is the band contact and he was a pleasure to deal with, answering any questions promptly and thoroughly. And when we had short notice requests these were dealt with straight away. The band have a number of line ups to suit any occasion, we maybe could have gone bigger but we decided on the 5 piece as this suited the size of the venue (Woodstock Weddings, York) and the set lists suited us to the ground. They are also always open to making any slight alterations to their setlist if desired. My short notice request was to add the option for the afternoon acoustic duo and this was accommodated with no issues. The acoustic duo was Mitch and Sarah then the rest of the band arrived in the evening. For both sessions the music was a mixture of all genres and decades and everyone commented on how well they interacted with the whole wedding party. Mitch, Sarah and the rest of the band did an amazing job and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. If they are on your radar, get them booked. You will not regret it."

"I just wanted to say thank you very much to After Dark for playing at our wedding party last Saturday. It was great to have some live music and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves - there was some very energetic dancing! So much for not having a first dance - we had to take to the floor first to encourage everyone! The song choices were perfect."
