"I’m just back from honeymoon and at the earliest opportunity wanted to contact you regarding Primed who performed at our wedding. Its fair to say that our expectations were high (having seen the demo's!) - and that Primed exceeded them in every way! they were truly fantastic, very professional, yet relaxed and fun - the music was outstanding. They definitely got the party started and at numerous points in the evening I looked around to see EVERYONE on the dance floor! Their music and energy, and excellent song list, kept the party going well into the night (no easy feat when you're dealing with people who arrived at a wedding ceremony at 10.30 am and have been on their feet for 12 hours already!)  I would not hesitate to recommend primed - and would happily provided any reference you need - and am happy for you to use my comments above should you wish. "Shakers Gold were recommended to us for our wedding and we will be doing the same! We opted for the Jazz duo followed by the four piece band and DJ and couldn't be happier with how the whole night went! The band were discreet to set up/shut down and the transition between band and DJ was so smooth. The band had everyone up on the dancefloor within minutes of playing and we remained there all night! It was a brilliant atmosphere and we can't thank them enough."

"Turned up on time with all the right kit and had practically everyone up on the dance floor. Really excellent performances every time. We have used them for our end of year Ball for about 4 years and have just booked them for the next one in July 2019 because we don't want them to be booked by anyone else. They look and sound the part. Would recommend."

"We wanted to thank the band for such as great evening. I was told that several of my guests were not the "dancing type" however all said that they enjoyed the band even if they were only listening to the music. We thought they were great! I would particularly like to thank them for letting the crazy, slightly intoxicated "musicians" in the family use the stage and their instruments during the evening, even though some of the performances were cringe worthy at times! It actually added to the funny memories of the evening and kept those crazy family members happy! Many thanks again for such as wonderful evening. "

"We hired The black Marcs to play at my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, ant very short notice and they were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Their performance truly made the evening special—creating a warm, joyful atmosphere that had everyone smiling, tapping their feet, and dancing all night, They were not only incredibly talented musicians, but also genuinely lovely people who clearly care about making every event memorable. What really stood out was the effort they made to learn a song from our favourite band, which isn’t even part of their usual setlist. It was such a thoughtful touch and meant a lot to all of us. That performance became one of the highlights of the night! We had so many guests comment on how much they enjoyed the music, and we couldn’t agree more. If you’re looking for a duo that’s professional, talented, and brings a personal touch to your event, I couldn’t recommend them more highly."

"50th Birthday Party - What an amazing duo!!! The lads were totally brilliant and played the crowd perfectly. Alex and Jon are the nicest guys you could wish to meet and superb vocalists too. The song list was amazing and they mixed it up depending on the crowd and timings etc .. some belting tunes blasted out kept the party going well into the night. I can't recommend Lazy Marmalade enough and I would happily give a personal recommendation. The whole experience from initial contact through to sat having a beer with the lads at the end of the night was a pleasure. Cheers Darren & Claire Howson."
