"Davie, I just wanted to contact you to say, ‘thank you VERY much, indeed’ to you and your band members for performing last Friday evening at the annual Grange Dyvours Tennis Club ‘Snow Ball’ and making it the tremendous success that it was. I have been to many weddings, ceilidhs and parties over the years and danced to many bands and I can tell you, without a shadow of a doubt, that ‘The Big Shoogle’ stands head and shoulders above the rest. Who would have thought that weaving in Pink Floyd and Deep Purple tracks in the middle of a Dashing White Sergeant would have worked but it did! You were an absolute pleasure to deal with, before our event; you all drove a considerable distance to arrive, at exactly the time requested, to set up all your equipment then, after our dinner, you returned to put on the most amazing performance. Some of our (non-Scottish) members had never danced some of the dances before but you made sure to talk everyone through what was expected, as a warm up, before the mayhem began. My face was sore laughing, at the end of some of those dances. Just brilliant. Our ‘Snow Ball’ on Friday evening was an astounding success and we have you to thank for that. Absolutely first class. P.s. Also, thanks for taking our booking for our ball, next Christmas. I wanted to get in quick to secure you as I know how much in demand you are! "

"Eugene was waiting for us with the drums set up when we arrived at The Spa. We could not praise them enough, they played just the right music at the correct time and as we had to be inside played quietly so that we could all chat whilst having drinks. We had many people come up to us saying how much they enjoyed their performance and I have to say that we would not have any hesitation in recommending them to others."

"Joseph played at our wedding and he was absolutely incredible! He had so so many compliments, every guest came up to us telling us how amazing he was, which we can agree. Joseph put SO much thought into our set list and sang some of Ems favourite artists songs such as JLS and One Direction. He also changed the first dance song PG like we wanted. We don’t have any regrets hiring Joseph:) "

"Taylor was a brilliant addition to our company party. Choosing great songs and also accepting requests. Our guests really got into the swing of the party vibe, also playing along on the supplied tambourine and African Drum. We all thoroughly enjoyed excellent guitar and vocal skills. Thanks so much Taylor for making it a great evening"

"STOP looking for DJs right now and book DJ Kyle! I can honestly confirm this is the best DJ I could have booked for the wedding. If you want a DJ that your guests will not stop talking about then Kyle is the DJ for you. Even the staff at the venue said it was the best DJ set they had ever had and the venue do a fair few weddings and events! I wanted a DJ that would interact and encourage people to dance and enjoy themselves and create a fantastic atmosphere, I’ve been to too many weddings where guests can be too shy to be the first ones on the dance floor. You won’t have this problem with DJ Kyle, he gets people fully involved by interacting, he play songs based on what your guests are really enjoying and creates a really unique set. Everyone absolutely loved DJ Kyle and would never ever hesitate to book him again, we’re already looking at future events and planning to book him again. Thank you DJ Kyle and all the team behind the scenes who helped with tech questions and organisation to create us an absolutely unforgettable event."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / Georgia's Wedding Ceilidh / October 2024 It was so much fun to have the trio along and they were so clear with their instructions that even the French at our wedding could follow along. Mike’s communication was superb and at one point extremely helpful by replying quickly with a key document, as we dealt with a problem with our venue. Thank you all."

"Hi Joe. Just wanted to send you a quick message to thank you SO much for Friday!!!!!Your talent is absolutely unbelievable. You literally MADE my wedding that day. Everyone was dancing all night and you literally made the party everything that I had ever dreamed it to be. The fact that even my dad was chanting and dancing away to those Ibiza beats literally says it all! ?? I will forever be grateful to you and just wanted you to know that! "We booked Funk it Up! for our wedding this summer & can not tell you how blown away we were by them. They were ALL absolute stars & Funk it Up! was easily the best part of our day - they brought 100% party vibes! They were an incredibly tight band; every member was an excellent musician & having been a bit of a fusspot about music building up to the day, I could not have been more chuffed. The dance floor was always packed out & the setlist did not let up! I lost count of the number of people who said to us afterwards how brilliant Funk it Up! had been, with the singer Ginger getting top marks from everybody for her showmanship and 10/10 bringing of the party throughout the set! If you want a proper old-school 70s/80s funk and soul band for your wedding or function, without the modern cliched Bruno Mars / Uptown Funk type stuff, then Funk it Up! is the band for you! Ginger was super helpful and communicative in the lead-up - she was able to add a trumpet player to the band's lineup to fill out the sound for us on the night & even kindly offered us the use of the band's PA for an hour at the end of the night after they'd finished playing. Do yourself a favour and book Funk it Up! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and you will NOT regret it."
