"Hi Aly, Just wanted to email to say what an amazing night we had at our wedding ceilidh. Everyone commented on what a fantastic, fun night they had. We knew it would get people up dancing but we couldn't believe how full the dance floor was! From people who had never been to a ceilidh, to our Scottish friends, everyone had the time of their lives! Thank you again, and also thank you for allowing us to use your PA system and lights. This worked perfectly for the disco after the ceilidh! We will definitely recommend you to anyone considering a ceilidh. We wish we could do it all again. Thanks, Steve & Sarah"

"I recently got married and booked southwest band off of the back of them playing at my other friends wedding! I cant say enough praise about them - so friendly and went above and beyond with all my requests. They even let me live out my dreams and let me sing with them! And also let me play the drums at the last wedding ha ha! All of my friends still speak about how good and memorable they were with their mixes especially me brightside “but make it weird” 😂 i could go on but 10000% would recommend ❤️"

"We had a great night at our retirement do. The band were brilliant and got everyone involved. I have had so many positive comments from people who attended including - it was the best night out I have ever had!! We were a pretty lively lot but Kip was very patient in explaining the dance when we just didn't get it. I would highly recommend The Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band to anyone who is planning a fun filled evening. Thank you very much indeed. "I cannot express how absolutely amazing Sophia was at our wedding - I knew she was going to be good from seeing her videos on the website/instagram but she was a million times better than I could have ever imagined!! Sophia played along to dance classics for pretty much an entire hour. The dance floor was full for the whole set, I had every guest messaging me over the following weekend saying she was fantastic and the set just rounded off the whole day as the most incredible wedding! Sophia's energy is amazing (I play the clarinet so I don't know how she can dance and play like that for such a long time!) and the fact she got in the crowd and partied with us was so much fun. That hour long set was second to our actual ceremony in my eyes it was that perfect. Sophia allowed us to pick the tracks we would like her to play along with from a huge list and was so easy to communicate from the first enquiry right up until the week of the wedding. I highly recommend booking Sophia, you won't be disappointed!"

"The Hot Hats played at my 40th birthday. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Everyone whom attended said how great they were (and my friends and family are not an easy bunch to please). They were extremely engaging with the crowd and overall it was a great set."

"Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed last Saturday in Dorchester - I have loved Bessie Smith's music for 30+ years but never known much about her so it was great to learn stuff. And I absolutely loved your enthusiasm right through and the way you gave your musicians a chance to display their considerable talents too - I was amazed at the difference between your speaking and singing voice - dunno where you get all that throatiness and deepness from! It was terrific and so this is to say thank you so much."

"Dave performed with Ben (his guitar partner) during our drinks reception and wedding breakfast, creating a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. This was exactly what we asked for and they executed it so well. During the evening, Dave accompanied our DJ. He not only impressed us with his fabulous skills, but all our guests are still talking about it! He was lovely, reliable and professional, not only on the day but also leading up to the wedding."
