Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"I was so excited when I found Absolute band's website and saw their repertoire and videos of them playing, it was exactly the vibe we were looking for. We booked them originally for June 2020, then moved to April 2021, then again moved to July 2021! Geoff was so kind and understanding and flexible throughout, navigating wedding season in a pandemic and making sure that we could have the numbers of guests we wanted there. They played on 3rd July 2021 and the dancefloor was absolutely banging! Because of covid we had to have an outside dancefloor - they were so flexible and played at the edge of the marquee facing out, whilst we all danced on a patio under a gazebo. It was truly magic. Our guests are a huge mix of ages and the dancefloor was rammed the entire time they were playing. We were running late and they were so flexible by doing an extra long set for us before the music had to turn off. They played all our favourite songs, and played a couple of requests that weren't on their repertoire. I cannot recommend them enough, they are really well priced for the standard of their performance, and I would book them again in an instant! "PHENOMENAL! The Stereobeats played our wedding a few weeks ago, I knew they'd bring the party but wow - they really brought the party! The dance floor was full for the whole night and everybody we've spoken to since has complimented them, best band ever! Great comms from Marsh on the run up also, an absolute pleasure to deal with. If you're thinking of booking them, take this review as a sign to lock them in before somebody else does, you won't regret it!!"

"Just wanted to say how much my family and I LOVED the band on Saturday. Not only were they wonderful musicians they were wonderful people too and they really helped make it such a special night for me, my sisters and my parents. The cover of their first dance wedding song was so beautiful and all the other songs they played really added to the momentum and general atmosphere of the night. They were also so accommodating letting us use the mic for our speech and really interacted well with the guests at the end to get people involved and dancing. We gushed this drunkenly to them all on the night, but please pass on a genuine thanks from me and my family! I also wanted to thank you both for being so ready to answer emails, questions, and even phone calls from me in the lead-up to the party. It's all been so hassle-free thanks to you both! Thanks again for making a memorable event that much more of a success. "

"Omg I can't recommend this band enough. We had THE best night ever! So many people asked about this band. They said they were amazing. Fantastic musicians! They sang all the songs we love. Excellent voices. I could have listened to them all night but had a dj aswell to alternate. They worked Fantastic together. The band kept in touch with me and answered any questions I had. Really friendly guys. Loved loved loved our night. Highly recommend for any event u are having "

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"Saw Whisky & Ginger at our local golf club last weekend and they were amazing! The voice! The songs! They had us oldies up dancing long after we'd normally be heading for bed! Would thoroughly recommend anybody to book and can't wait to have you back at the club!"
