Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"This is the 3rd year running that we've been lucky enough to have the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band play for our charity's annual barn dance. I cannot rate them highly enough - from great communication before the event to fabulous music on the day, they are first class. We're already looking forward to our 4th one next year!"

"All I can say is Pablo and Mariachi el Mexicano are amazing! They brought such a beautiful and magical energy to our event, everyone fell in love with the music and the atmosphere and couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. They know how to put on a great performance that will get everyone dancing and smiling endlessly and the band were extremely professional. It was a pleasure to have Pablo and Mariachi el Mexicano perform for us and we hope to book them in the future! "

"ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE GUYS. This band is ‘the best’ party band one could ever possibly dream of. It is impossible not to love them. I am SO grateful & lucky to have had them perform for us at our wedding party. Actually - they were single handedly responsible for creating the most incredible fun vibe throughout the whole day. There was not one person seated when these guys commanded the stage. What an incredible pairing/duo. SUPER fun, full of energy, so unique - and probably the best band I've ever worked with. As an event organizer myself - picking a band to perform at my own wedding was a big challenge for me and I needed to get it right - but man - I couldn't have done better if I tried. They're exceptional. Don’t think about it - just book them. You absolutely won't regret it. They are incredibly talented and also the nicest guys to deal with. I just love them. I want to organize more events just to experience them again. My photos just do not do them justice. Waiting for our professional photographer to share more because honestly they deserve much more than what I can show you."

"Hot Hats performed and DJ’d at our wedding at The Moonraker Hotel and put on a fantastic show. Great tunes, interaction with guests, professional and organised throughout. We would definitely recommend them to others and would be happy to hire them for any future events."

"We booked Radio Dukes for our wedding back in June, and it was so refreshing to deal directly with a band! Mitch was really friendly, helpful and responsive from the beginning. We booked quite late in the day (our engagement to wedding process was only 5 months long!) but Radio Dukes certainly delivered on the night, playing a number of songs we’d specially requested, Reef: Place Your Hands, complete with a couple of lyrics changes so it became first dance material :) Red hot chilli peppers: Can’t Stop, which everybody loved. And not forgetting B52s: Love Shack which our friend and female vocalist got involved with, thank you! The dance floor was full all night, with something for everyone, from grandparents to work colleagues, to friends on space hoppers. We’ve had so many compliments since, so thank you Radio Dukes for your fantastic music! May you have a joyful, gig-filled 2019! X"

"Hi Anne, I'm sorry I haven't got back to you to say how much we enjoyed your music at G and O's wedding it certainly made the day . A lot of guests came to say how much they enjoyed the music. We had a brilliant day at our daughters' wedding made even better with the fabulous Sounds Interesting String Quartet! Our daughter and new son-in-law were delighted and the guests came to say how much they enjoyed the music. We would certainly recommend Sounds Interesting for any occasion." "We've been running concerts in our living room for just over two years and have hosted two outstanding, memorable Jazz concerts involving Nigel's Verve Jazz trio, with Terry Seabrook and Al Scott with Nigel on bass and Darren Beckett on drums. The quality of musicianship and atmosphere was really exceptional a physical, heartfelt performance from all with particularly beautiful, intimate solos from Nigel. Hope to have you back again very soon. "

"JUST BRILLIANT. Relative Cool played for our wedding on the 1st April 2024 in the Lake Districts and we honestly could not be happier. From the first time we contacted them, they were super helpful and replied quickly to any queries we had. All of our guests have commented on how amazing the band was (and we couldn’t agree more). It was lovely to see all of our guests up and dancing. Thank you so much for playing for us! "
