"The band were very professional, both leading up to our wedding and also on the day itself. More importantly they sounded absolutely awesome, everyone was dancing from the first song through to the last and they obviously gave it everything for the whole night. They helped create exactly the atmosphere that we were after in the evening. I would have absolutely no hesitation in booking them again."

" What a superb band! It's was a huge privilege to have you play at our wedding, the guests loved it and there wasn't a moment that the dance floor was ever empty!! When booking the Ashdowne, we were initially drawn to the initial repertoire of indie and rock songs the band had on offer and not to mention the talent of both the guitarists, drummer and singers. The band played acoustic and full band sets which didn't disappoint. A truly talented band, who would not look out of place at a major music festival!! Professional through and through and accommodating to all our needs leading up to and during our special day. Thank you every so much for making it such a wonderful day!! "What a fantastic night. The band jumped in on a weeks notice and put on a cracking show. They arrived early and were set up and ready to go before anyone arrived for the party. They read how the evening was going and allowed people to finish eating before starting. The set was fantastic and had everyone on their feet dancing. "After spending weeks looking for a wedding band who could play more than the standard fare, we were intrigued on seeing their repertoire; finally a band who could satisfy all the guests with a mixture of classy soul, RnB and pop. Once we listened to their demo we were sold; it was clear that Rebecca has the voice of an angel. However, this didn’t prepare us for the performance on the day, which exceeded all expectations. Love songs delivered with heartbreaking beauty and pop that had everyone off their seats until the last note of the evening. Rebecca and the Somerset Soul are a wedding band for the discerning listener who gave us the perfect end to a perfect day."

"Amazing band!! friendly, fun and they get the party going. we hired them for our wedding and everyone loved them, they have a unique twist to making classic songs sound new and funky! The only band I’ve ever seen get involved with the crowd and have the chair dancers out of their seats"
