"We organised The Cheers to play at our wedding in September 2018, and it was one of the best decisions of the day. I think there are three reasons why I would recommend them: 1. The music is great - The Cheers played a selection of oldies and new music to cater to the tastes of all our guests. We had a lot of kids and they even played some things purposefully to get them on the dance floor with their parents - a lovely touch. They are very talented musicians (with credentials!) and made everything sound great in our venue, even though they only had a short time to sound-check. We received numerous compliments that the band were excellent. They learnt our first dance perfectly and performed it exactly how we wanted. Just fantastic. 2. They are very professional - Our speeches and breakfast overran by about 45 minutes, but the band were extremely accommodating and calm about the delay. They setup extremely quickly to get us back on track and they were thoroughly proficient in breaking down at the end. They brought all their own equipment and everything looked and sounded great. 3. They were very easy to work with - Even though we didn’t meet the band until the day of the wedding, they were extremely easy and pleasant to deal with. Our main point of contact was Ben (the band manager) who was charming, quick to respond to calls and messages and very helpful. Formal arrangements were quick and professional and the entire interaction went very smoothly. Overall, the experience of hiring and hearing The Cheers was faultless. Thank you so much for rounding off our special day with fantastic entertainment."

"I know my husband is in the band and you'll think I'm biased.... Well i am really, but, the party for our youngest daughter (18) had ages ranging from 18-60's. Everyone and I mean everyone was up dancing. They are a fab covers band and there is something for everyone.... Book them, you won't be disappointed!!! "

"The best decision we made for the Evening Reception of our wedding yesterday was hiring these guys! Brilliant band, so fun and yet so professional. They really made the night what it was... I was slightly overthinking my party arrangements before as you know but we were in safe hands. You clearly know what works and what doesn’t as the atmosphere inside that room was second to none. My phone has not stopped with calls and texts saying where did we find you guys. "It was a fabulous night, a joy to experience and your music was the icing on the cake. Everybody without exception loved the band and most of them danced their soxx off! The music was superb, the mix of repertoire perfect and the musicians jelled so well together, with great tempos, dynamics and arrangements and the backing vocals were superb. We all figure that the music on Sunday night was just about as good as it gets. Many of our guests said that this was the best band they have ever seen and I agree, you are World class! (and, over 50+ years, I've seen them all)."

"Unrecognised genius The Arsenal Tavern, Finsbury Park on Saturday 25 June 2022 That headline was a quote from DAVID BOWIE in Mojo Magazine about Billy RItchie, the keyboard player of MAYHEM, and could easily apply to the band itself. I reviewed them before, having been hugely impressed by the stunning harmonies and clever use of backing tracks, but I have to say, the new incarnation is even better, with Billy on Keyboards and Carol singing with even more assurance as when I first saw them a few years ago. DAVID BOWIE's comment is seen to be apt, the keyboards adding yet another dimension to what was already a very fine band/duo. I went to The Arsenal Tavern to catch the band, out of curiosity, especially when I noted the addition of keyboards. What a nice venue, rather a shame that the crowd was relatively quiet for a Saturday night, but they did warm up in the end - more than that, there was whooping and hollering as Carol and Billy sang "Don't Stop me Now" by Queen and "Born to Run" by Bruce Springsteen, among many other fine renditions of popular and very danceable songs, including Carol's stirring version of "Feel like a Woman" and Billy's rousing "Light my Fire" with its stunning organ solo and vocal climax producing a roar from the crowd before the song even ended. I still sense that this band has yet more to offer, some of the material could be considered rather lightweight and perhaps too populist, for such a credible force as MAYHEM are. I look forward to seeing them again, perhaps even at this potentially excellent venue. Andrew Staines, Sunday 26 June 2022 "

"High Five the band were brilliant and really got the party going!!! They also sang the first dance which was beautiful. They went with the flow as the time schedule had gone out the window by then but completed their set. The range of music they played was fabulous and covered a range of ages."

"We booked Party Hat for our wedding in February and I couldn't have wished for better musicians and singers. We booked them as a duo to play at our ceremony and drinks reception and then the full band for the evening. So much fun, professional and excellent choice of songs! Thank you!"
