"The band played a magnificent set at our Christmas Party. Lively, energetic and great fun, they had a superb feel for what everyone wanted . As a result the dance floor was packed from start to finish. Highly recommended."

"Where do I start! We booked The Fireflies for our daughter's wedding last Saturday and they were unbelievably amazing!! Not only are they incredibly talented musicians but they are just fabulous people who just made the vibe for the whole day and evening! Ian is an incredible vocalist but also has most infectious personality. He mixed with the guests making everyone feel so special and offered to be MC for the speeches etc which he carried out superbly with humour and ease. If you have an event for which you want a band, please hire these guys, they are exceptional!!!! Thank you Fireflies - you are awesome!!!"

"Really great group. Worked hard, sounded excellent and a pleasure to have at our wedding. They were really lively and got everyone up and dancing and were really interactive with the crowd. The songs they played were excellent and I’d thoroughly recommend them. "

"Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio performed at a surprise party for my wife’s 60th Birthday recently. It was intended to be a function at which people could be fully involved and Boy! Did they do just that! I honestly cannot remember such a function where all of the guests were agreed it was an evening to remember that was also such fun. The whole success of the celebration came from the bands active participation and willingness to do everything possible to make the evening into a night to remember. That, they surely did. Thank you Black Velvet Ceilidh Band. You and the band made my wife very, very happy. She will not forget and neither will I. You are indeed very special musicians and very special people. May I wish you all well."

We had so many comments about how great you guys were; the song choices, the quality of the music and the way you all interacted with everyone. "Trio Capriccio played at our wedding last September and we couldn’t recommend them enough! We really wanted something different to the usual quartet groups often played at weddings and Trio Capriccio didn’t disappoint. Such a beautiful sound to walk down the aisle to. The group were also beyond accommodating when we brought our wedding forward with 4 days notice due to covid restrictions and didn’t complain when I sent over a list of preferred songs just the afternoon before! They were clearly already well rehearsed and couldn’t have been more accommodating! They have a huge repertoire so were able to cater for traditional wedding songs, hymns and pop songs which made the whole service really individual to us. Thank you so much! We wish we could do it all again."

"Afternoon Ben, By all accounts a great time was had by all. Especially Nula, she really enjoyed the evening and thought you guys were absolutely brilliant. "Thank you all so much for your amazing performance on Saturday evening, which was everything I could have hoped for! Your music was brilliant, got everyone up dancing and I can’t tell you how many people told me afterwards 'how brilliant the 1920s band were’. As soon as you played your first song I knew we’d struck gold! It couldn’t have been more perfect given the whole Gatsby theme and everyone so dressed up, so thank you all so much. You may be interested to know that we raised an astonishing £7,000 on the night! With just 96 people in the room…amazing! Thanks again Matthew and I'll not hesitate to recommend you if anyone should ask me for a fabulous 20’s Jazz Band!"

"We saw the pocket rockers the Saturday before Christmas - great band! The songs were a great mix and all fantastic and got everyone up singing and dancing, from toddlers to ninety year olds! They even sang a few Christmas songs to get everyone in the holiday spirit! Would definitely recommend booking them for parties and weddings!! Plus their version of Johnny B Goode is awesome!!"
