Review Centre: Bands with DJ's

"Lazy Marmalade recently performed at our festival themed wedding. They captured the vibe perfectly and played a chilled out acoustic set as guests were arriving and then later as part of our drinks reception. We had asked them to learn some of our favourite songs for the ceremony and first dance which they performed excellently. Their evening set of floorfillers was brilliant and everyone was bouncing! There may have even been some crowd-surfing during Mr Brightside… We found the guys doing some research online and went to see them in person at a wedding fair. It’s fair to say they sound as good online as they do in person, if not even better! The guys were very professional in responding to our emails and we would recommend them to anyone looking for an acoustic/rock band for their event. "

"I booked Prestige Collective for our Circus themed NYE event at The Roof Gardens. Being an extremely popular and exclusive event competing with the best of London's nightlife, I knew the choice of entertainment was key and had to be of an exceptional standard. For me, the Prestige Collective band were an obvious choice."

We had them for our wedding and had so many comments on how fantastic they were at getting the party going, engaging with guests & playing the perfect songs to keep people on the dance floor. "Starlet Beat played at our wedding and absolutely made our night! Everyone was up and dancing and we had so many comments from people on the night and after the wedding about how much they loved the band. They have amazing energy and are incredibly fun, as well as all being brilliant musicians. They learned a song for us and their version is right up there with the original for us! Karen was really easy to deal with in the run up to the wedding - so lovely to chat to and we really appreciated how much effort she put into researching the venue/liasing with them so that everything went smoothly. Absolutely perfect from start to finish, I cannot recommend them highly enough!"

"Having met Shama and the 515 Crew at a couple of events I photographed over he last 2 years, it was without question that we would be using them whenever we had a family event. Last weekend, my brother and I threw our parents a surprise 65th birthday party and I was super excited to have secured a booking for this auspicious occasion with the 515 crew and they most certainly didn’t disappoint!!! They arrived promptly to setup and worked within the limited space we had at our venue without any complaints. I asked Shama if the group would be able to play a handful of my dads favourite songs from the 70’s and 80’s era including Santana, Wilson Picket and James Brown and although it was material that they hadn’t done before, they took time to rehearse in the week and surprised us with their amazing delivery on the main night. My dad and guests were over the moon! I’ve had nothing but positive comments from our guests on the 515 Crew’s super professional musical ability and singing. Their Indian songs took our guests back into time and found it refreshing to hear some of the old bollywood songs with a modern and current feel. I really cannot express how delighted myself, my parents and our guests are with the 515 Crew. I dealt with Shama from the initial phone call to check on the teams availability and she’s always been a pleasure to deal with including on the night itself. I most certainly will be using them when we have another event and will be recommending them to my clients too! "We saw this fantastic band on Friday at the Dartmouth Regatta - they were fab. Great range of music and really involved the crowd - including my 3 year old. They even changed a song for him! Would definitely recommend."
