Review Centre: Party Bands

"For the third time "Back2Skool" came to Brightlingsea Scout Groups Classic Car Show and Family Funday, and once again they entertained the crowds as the sun shone down and earned the entertainer badge. They are not to high and mighty that they wont play certain venues and seemed to enjoy the high scaffolding stage challenge, giving a great vantage point and traditional canvas throw together "scouting" roof. This was our 14th annual show and the third time they have played, HOWEVER this is the first time i remember that every single chair in the bar area has been turned round to face the stage and people were waiting for them to start. Booking was really easy and and Tracy has a great sense of humour and a pleasure to deal with. Don't think about booking them... book them. Will i be using them again....do cub / scout wear scarves and earn badges?"

"The Pocket Rockers were absolutely amazing at my 30th Birthday Party, played some great songs to get people dancing (and dancing in their chairs)! Very professional and almost everyone at the party said “WOW! The band are really good! Where did you find them?!” They really gave my party that something extra!"

"Simon was very easy to work with – and flexible on what the band could play. At very short notice they had to add some traditional bar mitzvah music to their repertoire, which they played very well. Also with almost no notice, Simon had to take over the role of MC during the later part of the evening, as our MC was slightly indisposed. He did that very well. The music was mainly dance music that most people could enjoy, either dancing or just listening to. We all loved it including my 20-year-old nephew who is studying piano at Trinity. Guests were dancing the night away and the music really added to the joyous atmosphere. And the sound level was kept at a reasonable level, so those who did not want to dance could still talk. We received lots of compliments on our choice of band. I definitely recommend them."

"Thank you so much for playing at our wedding! It was amazing. I loved the way you split the sets into two genres and it worked perfectly I think. Also thank you so much for putting so much time and effort into our request songs. As you could probably tell they went down a treat with everyone there... not only those within our band who knew and loved them but also our friends and family who had never heard anything like loved it too! You guys are truly talented and from start to finish complete professionals. Thank you so much for bringing the rhythms and feel of Latin America and Brazil to our wedding. It was absolutely perfect. "Absolutely first class entertainment!! Not only is the talent across the group is incredible, they are all such lovely, friendly yet professional to deal with. They go out of their way to make your event special and unique and are spoken about by our guests for weeks after. I will continue to reccomend and use these guys for every event!! My only regret is I wish I knew about them sooner!!"

"Stop here for fabulous entertainment and honest to goodness fun. Booked the Rag Tag Misfits for a surprise party to celebrate my husband's birthday and they didn't disappoint. Fabulous music which appealed to our particular age group and interactive props made for a hugely entertaining night - there are not many people who could get an 18 year old to play a cowbell. Thank you once again Andy & Helly for a wonderful night. Highly recommended and would book again xxx"

"We recently booked Peach Beach for our wedding party and we could not have been happier. We already knew we loved their sound (and particularly Kirsty's voice) from their promo videos but what we didn't know is how good the band would be a getting everyone on the dance floor. Whilst their songs were not my normal 'favourites' they were far better choices to get everyone involved. Everybody from my 5 year old niece to my 75 year old mother-in-law were up dancing and all our guests couldn't stop saying how great the music was. As normal, we ran a bit behind on the day but Kirsty and the guys were super relaxed in pushing back the set times for us. Thanks so much guys for making our party one to remember and helping us dance the night away. We'll definitely keep Peach Beach in mind for our future family parties!"
