"The band were really helpful when we contacted them before the wedding. On the day they set up with no fuss, and let us borrow their mics for our speeches. Their 3 sets were all really good-everyone was dancing from the beginning until the end, and everyone has been commenting on what a great band they are. They were so full of energy, and even ended up wearing props from our photo booth which added to the fun- the drummer looked great in a fez!"

" Hugely talented, stacks of energy and an instant great atmosphere guaranteed. The show was really good fun with lots of audience participation, from singing and dancing to playing musical instruments. My event was a great success with almost everyone enjoying it. "Dearest Samuel and the whole of the choir, Allan and I were so sorry not to say goodbye to you properly after the service - with all the photos being taken it was all a bit overwhelming! We honestly can't thank you enough or tell you how amazing we thought you were. You made the service so unbelievably special and put the biggest smiles on Allan and my faces when we were standing there at the alter. Everyone during the reception came up to us and were just raving about you and how much they enjoyed the service (even non Christians!!). "Laura played for my wedding on 07/09/2023 and she honestly made my day. Laura is professional from start to finish, incredible at what she does and is just a general beautiful soul. I requested a specific song that she didn’t know and she was more than happy to get learning it and let me tell you, she did an amazing job. Absolutely incredible. "You all play such great swing music, real foot-tapping and memorable numbers, putting it over in fine style with much good humour, which comes over very well to an audience. There is so much talent from you all with a switch so easily from instrument to instrument its fantastic. Also some terrific singing and to have four vocalists on the night as well was a bonus. Simone is as splendid as ever and a delight to listen to, with some great numbers too from that next door 'lad' in voice and on the sax. I was also impressed with some good horn blowing whilst playing the piano at the same time! Quite a feat and impressed many of my friends who watched in admiration! But thanks to you all for giving us all an enjoyable and memorable night."

"Huw was a true professional who has amazing talent. His performance was outstanding and we would not hesitate to recommend him. At one point, one of our guests thought that we had a CD playing. They didn’t believe that it was a live act. They thought that Huw’s voice was fantastic. Huw really did make our wedding extra special so thank you."

"Really pleased with Bowfiddle Strings. They played at my party as guests arrived and managed a modern twist to my eclectic taste in music. Dealt with Laura, who organised it all for me. Made suggestions that were great, as I had no idea really idea to begin with. Would use again and have already been to a concert that they have played at. The quality of playing was / is splendiferous, and we had many complimentary comments made about Bowfiddle Strings at the party."

"This band is a class act. Joanne has an unique voice that if heard once, you will instantly recognise. She has a great range and sometimes sings in an operatic tone too. Her husband James is a great guitarist and singer too. They compliment each other and are fun to watch. You will not be disappointed."
