"Excellent ceilidh band, we booked the duo for our wedding and they were really flexible with the arrangements, very responsive with any questions prior to the wedding, very good value and put on a great performance that everyone enjoyed, mixing traditional Scottish folk with other traditional music throughout the dances. Highly recommended! Positive - Responsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value"

Your selection of music was bang on - my only wish was I should have sorted you out to stay longer when I booked !! "We welcomed Black Velvet Band Irish Duo for our St Patrick's Day celebration and the club was packed. We were thoroughly entertained from start to finish! We loved the music and we danced to all the well-known old Irish songs. Thank you and we hope to host you again!"

"Junior, Just back from Honeymoon yesterday, so apologies for the delay. Thanks you so much for playing at our wedding reception, both Joanna and i have a great time and really enjoyed your music. "We had absolute play at our wedding and they were honestly better then I could have ever imagined. Steve and Geoff are absolutely lovely and were so friendly and accommodating up to the event. They even learned our first dance song for us. They made our day so special. Also the vocals are SO GOOD. "Paddy stepped in and saved our wedding with a day-and-a-half notice after we were let down by another musician. So glad the other guy pulled out as Paddy's voice was far superior, he was wonderful with the little ones, friendly, helpful and so accommodating. Genuinely nice guy and a fabulous performer. Cannot recommend enough! "
