"We booked Amplified based on a recommendation from a friend - and they were one of the highlights of our wedding weekend! Rhona and the band were very easy to work with during the planning process, which included organising the band's travel and equipment hire in France, and setup of several locations. Our guests were entertained throughout the day and night with several different styles and a large repertoire. Amplified were friendly, professional and we would highly recommend them to everyone!! "

"You guys made the wedding. Absolutely fantastic. I am only sorry that I did not come and talk to you all earlier but I understand you spoke to luke and some of the family quite a bit. "James and his band were the perfect addition to our wedding celebrations. We had no end of compliments from our guests about how professional and fantastic they were, both for their amazing sound and for how James helped lead the day with announcements and talking to our guests over the mic. James took so much care to make the music right for us, even allowing us to add in two request songs, which added such a special personal touch to our day. James also provided a DJ service for us until the end of the night which had everyone up enjoying themselves on the dancefloor. I would highly recommend James for any wedding or event - an excellent, talented musician who goes above and beyond."

"Guys, Just wanted to thank you again for putting on a couple of fabulous sets last night at the Orchard Suite. What a fabulous band you are and you got everyone up dancing which is no mean feat for some of our friends and family. The set list you put together was perfect for the occasion. "CANNOT RATE THIS BAND HIGH ENOUGH! ? ? ? ? ? Honestly we booked them years back when our wedding was due and they were so accommodating throughout our date change and using our very chaotic playlist! When I say this band will get your guests on your feet I mean it! Honestly would get married again just to use them …. Yes we do stalk them when they play at festivals!"

"Excellent DJ for our wedding at The Square, Bristol. Alex kept the dancefloor filled all evening which was brilliant, just what we wanted. They gave us the option to provide requests in advance and were really flexible when we said we wanted to do something a bit different for our first dance. On the night, Alex adapted to our guests, not just sticking to the usual wedding playlist but tailoring the music to what we were enjoying most. We had a fantastic time. Thank you!"

"We just wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to you and Alex for the fantastic set you did on Saturday at Ben’s 40’s Themed 40th Birthday Party! You were so friendly and helpful that many of the guests assumed you were friends of Ben’s. Well you are now! Your voices and Alex’s guitar playing were really lovely and the choice of songs was spot on. I really appreciated the way you took charge of any announcements and navigated the events during the evening without ever taking over, so that it took away any stress from us. Thanks also for enabling Izzy to use the backing tracks so that she could sing some special songs for Ben .You both really helped to make the evening such an enjoyable event for all involved. Lots of people commented on the music and wanted to know who you were, and the staff at the venue said how much they had enjoyed the music and the atmosphere it created. I know Ben will be in touch with you soon, but once again thank you both so much again for helping to make the event ‘go with a swing’ so that we all had a really lovely evening. "The band set the tone for an evening where everyone, but everyone, joined in the dancing in our village hall. There was an enormous variety in the types of dances, no fuss about who was meant to be standing on the right or left of their partner and lots of patience when dancers didn't initially get the hang of where to move. And probably best of all they were open to requests for dances outside their normal repertoire. A good night was had by all. Thanks!"

"Amy was lovely, picked a great mix of songs that fit exactly the brief. She brought a great vibe to the party and was well received by all guests. She has such a nice voice, and was a great addition to the party."
