"Fab band. Attended a wedding last year where they played so knew they would be good. Music selection spot on. All guests commented on the great evening. Would highly recommend and use again. Full dance floor all night. "

"Dale & the band.Thanks for making Mike & Lisa’s big day special. Without your music the whole day would not have flowed as beautifully as it did. The musical collection (and the way we could choose our favourite tunes) was excellent and catered for all the different tastes on the night. All the guests loved the range of numbers which were played in a very professional manner and the night just went too quickly. We’d certainly recommend you again to anyone wanting a live band for any style of future event. Best regards Jon & Cath Baines --- My husband Mike and I were extremely happy with the funky tunes which Funk ‘n’ Soul did at our wedding. "The day after our wedding just over a week ago one question that kept coming up was.... 'Where did you find that band?!' They were awesome from start to finish. They knew that we were having a festival themed wedding and really added to this, getting so involved with the whole 'Gibsonbury' element, and putting on a fantastic show. No one wanted them to leave the stage and we could not have been happier. The whole booking and planning process was effortless also, with Lindsay, the band manager on hand for all queries and advice. Wish we could relive the night again and would thoroughly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a wedding band and or great party!!!"

"I'm really sorry I didn't get to say thank you last night for your incredible music! You guys were literally awesome and I can't tell you how many people just kept saying to me 'the band is INCREDIBLE!'. Also thank you for performing our first dance song specially for us - I know it wasn't part of your usual repertoire and it was completely beautiful! I hope you had a safe journey home. "We booked The Throwback Showdown - 80s vs 90s for our 50th Birthday party. They were professional and reliable from start to finish. When they started playing they blew our minds. Even their soundcheck was awesome !! We could not recommend these guys high enough. Brilliant - you will not regret booking them !!!"

From the very first contact Sam was incredible, the communication was amazing, Sam and his team did everything to make our wishes comes through on the night. On the evening of the party he kept checking in to make sure we were happy. They were so professional but also so friendly and kind. Literally can not fault them, everyone at my party has been raving about them Will 100% use them for future parties"

"I Keep meaning to ring - which I will - but just wanted to say you guys on sat were absolutely fab - the jazz was lovely - I looked back a few times and it was just magical to see - and the band was amazing - all and sundry said they hadn’t seen such a good band if not ever then def for a long long time - the amount of dancing proves the point too - my playing added to it all as well!!! "After just one song early in the evening they had the dance floor filled all night, sounded like Blondie too, they did songs from the Specials, Madness ,The Beat, even did an Oasis cover and many more, great entertainment."
