"We booked The Throwback Showdown - 80s vs 90s for our 50th Birthday party. They were professional and reliable from start to finish. When they started playing they blew our minds. Even their soundcheck was awesome !! We could not recommend these guys high enough. Brilliant - you will not regret booking them !!!"

"Very polite to everybody & really professional act on stage . Would recommend this group for any occassion as i think they would fit in with any type of party . Everybody remarked " good food & brilliant group " & a few were looking them up on their i-phones to possibly book for their parties. "

"Have followed these guys to quite a few gigs over the years and yet never tire of listening to them sing/play. Wherever they play they never fail to fill the dance floor. Their music is of various genres and sung with feeling. Having had the pleasure of knowing one of the guitarists many years ago they even took on a song suggested that has now been attributed to me! If covid hadn’t struck they would’ve played at my 50th birthday party! We cannot rate them more. "

"Thank you so much for being so fabulous! You really were awesome and we've had so many good comments from everybody saying how great you were. I've told you before about how I knew you'd be great. Well...you blew my expectations out of the water! I did not in my wildest dreams think that you would have such an effect on everyone. Some people who I just did not expect to see dancing were up there all night! It just could not have been better! I only wish we could have that night back! I don't know how to say thank you! You were just the best wedding band ever!!"

As a band, you are phenomenal and so hugely talented. The song choice was spot-on, with a great mix of contemporary, up-to-date hits and some golden-oldies that everyone could dance to. Indeed, a full dance floor all night is surely testimony enough to the success of your music. "We had The Smooth Criminals play at our wedding and they were nothing short of phenomenal. From start to finish, they kept the energy high, the dance floor packed, and the smiles on everyone’s faces. A special thanks to James, who took the time before the wedding to really understand our vision and music preferences. Those pre-wedding meetings were invaluable, and the band absolutely smashed every request we made. A huge shout-out also goes to their incredible female lead singer – her voice was stunning, and her energy was absolutely electric. She had everyone from our youngest guests to our grandparents up and dancing, and the atmosphere she created was unforgettable. We’ve had so many compliments from guests saying it was the best wedding band they’d ever seen, and we couldn’t agree more. "The band made our day and night! The duo came and set up without a fuss and the band were very professional and interacted with the crowd, they were great fun. I organised our wedding from Australia and it was clear to see on their website that the band would be great. We didn't want an average wedding band and the band exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend booking this band!"
