"Just a quick note to say thank you so much for making our wedding dancefloor the absolute party that it was! We spent quite a bit of time making sure we found the right band for our wedding day and now, in hindsight shouldn't have looked around! You guys were really fantastic. From playing our first dance live (and making me cry...thanks!) and keeping the floor packed all night, to full on dance-offs, we can't thank you enough. "We saw this dynamic duo perform at a summer wedding and we were so wowed by their energy and talent that we booked them for our anniversary/birthday celebrations. Soul Messengers delivered a 2-hour set of classic songs with such fun, panache and sentimentality; we were dancing, singing and taking a trip down memory lane with the songs that marked the decades and our milestones. Azu's vocal range is amazing and Filippo is a master blaster on his guitar! They are polite, affable, very easy to communicate with and they truly put heart and soul into their fantabulous performances. Book this thrilling class act for your event if you enjoy their genre of songs. This accomplished duo will effortlessly jazz up celebrations in a cosy private setting or pull in the crowd for a big event. Whichever it is, they are guaranteed to make forever memories for you & your guests. We know because we've enjoyed their spectacular performances twice! The rapport with their audiences is heart-warmingly real. Thank you for everything. It was a totally stress-free booking and absolutely worth it."

"They really kept everybody energized! Where do I begin? Function Republic really looked after me from start to finish. So quick to get back to me from my barrage of questions! "We had a great evening last Saturday with Through the Decades doing a wonderful job singing a mix of Motown and 70's hits. Emily from the group was great to deal with before the night. All the people we have spoken to said they had a great time"

"Somerset Soul played at our wedding reception yesterday and I can not recommend them enough. Prompt, professional, good fun, all-around great people! Rebecca’s voice is unreal. They were energetic and engaging, they had the whole room dancing from start to finish and they learnt and played our first dance song so beautifully. Book them immediately! "

"We were absolutely over the moon with your service and performance at the Dulwich College 400 Anniversary Black & Blue ball. You all looked very smart, but Rock’n’Roll, in your black shirts and jeans; your setting up and help with the boys’ big band ( kindly letting them use your drum kit and amp) was seamless and last but not least, your sets were outstanding! The song choices were spot on, as you clearly know what gets everyone going. You may remember, we struggled to get the guests to leave the dance floor when the end of the evening was announced. If we hadn’t had to finish at a certain time, due to residential area and license, we would have had you play until daylight! We received many compliments, on your behalf, from guests’ feedback and will not hesitate in booking you again for any future parties."

"We thought you were fantastic – super professional, really friendly and the students loved you! It was a very tough crowd, (international students always are; massive range in cultures, preferences and expectations) so it was a relatively small crowd towards the end of the evening. But you remained superb, continued to engage with the small audience so we were very pleased indeed!"
