"We had the Kemptown Hot Club performing during an informal but very important dinner with prestigious guests. All the members are very talented as well as extremely kind and friendly. They tried their best in especially difficult circumstances, for sure their participation, patience and incredible great mood really made the difference in our event."

"Recently I heard Jack play acoustic guitar on Carnival’s Legend ship. A musician myself, I thoroughly enjoyed his genuineness and natural talent! What a delightful young man. We chatted a few times throughout the week and he was so kind to play some James Taylor favorites for me. Made me so happy! I am sure we will be hearing that name again. Jack, thank you again for sharing your talents and taking the time to connect with me and many others on the ship. You go above and beyond and I know you will do well! "I would 100% recommend Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band to anyone! It was the highlight of our wedding reception and got everyone involved no matter what age. The caller was clear and friendly and the music was brilliant. There was a mix of interesting and entertaining dances and we could have had them for another few hours and still been dancing! Thanks for a very memorable evening. "

"When we speak to friends about our wedding, the first thing that gets said to us is ''that band were good''. That band were Licksquid. Licksquid had our guests dancing from the very first song of the night. They performed all the songs we requested, and what struck me was how much the band enjoyed it themselves. Licksquid are not a wedding band who just arrive, perform a standard wedding set then leave. These lads will learn songs especially for you, they will join in dance offs with your friends, they will make your wedding complete. The best testimony of Licksquid we can give? In the run up to our wedding, our venue manager said he wasn't familiar with Licksquid, at the end of the night, I saw him asking Licksquid for their business card."

"I have personally known this band for more years than sometimes I want to remember. (I think about 25!). They have performed many times in all three establishments associated with my long career as a licensee. In addition, I have watched & listened to their music in numerous Castle Rock Pub outlets, in my capacity as director of said company. The band exhibit the kind of professional approach to their audience, no matter how big or small the venue, that would be an example to many other performers I have witnessed over the years. Playing with real passion, skill and flare, they embrace their audience into their world of Celtic music like no other. During their distinguished career, they have built up a seemingly endless repertoire of songs and tunes from their Celtic roots, and therefore every set played to faithful followers tends to be unique! All the members of this great band, both past and present, have become personal friends of mine and long may it continue. I have no hesitation in recommending Kellys Heroes to any establishment or agency."

"I contacted the Black Marcs when the band I had booked cancelled 2 days before my mum's birthday party. They weren't actually able to play in the end but were really helpful in recommending another, more local band that ended up doing it instead."
