"From us both, we cannot thank you enough. We booked Flux Ensemble for our wedding, to perform for guests arrival, bridal entrance, a guest sing-a-long and the drinks reception. The music was beautifully played on our wedding day and everything worked so seamlessly. The team are full of enthusiasm and made our day so special. There was a lot of effort and prep prior to our wedding day by Martin in order for our day to be so perfect; martin is incredibly responsive, great at bouncing ideas off and even sent us a snippet of a mash-up we were considering (and ended up having for the bridal entrance). This effort didn’t go unnoticed and we are truly so grateful we found you!"

"Gary stepped in at the last minute to play at an impromptu dinner at our officers mess in Windsor. How he remembers all the music spanning five or six decades is beyond me. Perhaps he has taken the Mega Memory course? Then there are the lyrics. Even I knew many of them though because he chose songs everyone liked and could sing and dance to. If you want a rubbish time, book someone else!"

"The musicians were fantastic (2nd November 2019 Saturday Fletchers Lea, Ware Priory, High Street, Ware, Hertfordshire SG12 9AL). Turned up when they said they would and were very accommodating. Margaret was great at encouraging the reticent and showing how to do the dances. Everyone had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of a ceilidh. "I booked Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio for my wife’s 50th Birthday barn dance. The booking process and communication was great. On the night, from the off, everyone was up dancing. The instructions were great and they really got us all into the spirit. Lots of comments from our friends about how good they were. Thanks to all for an amazing night of music and dance. Would definitely recommend. "

"Vintage Sister Harmony were always my top band to ask for the night and I’m so glad they were available. They got everyone dancing without being too loud that people were deafened. My personal recommendation for any-one wanting lovely acoustic music, with singing that can also pack a punch!"
