"Booked the band for my 60th birthday party , have to say they were absolutely superb. Songs from the 60s right through to the current day . The dance floor was always busy and each of their three forty minute sets was brilliant. Thank you guys!"

"We wanted to get in touch to officially thank you for helping to make our big day even more special. Alice and I spent many evenings sitting at home ploughing through online video clips of bands and were so pleased we found Stargazers. The band lived up to our expectations and made our day even more special. Thank you to both you and Andy for playing the acoustic set while the photos were being taken. While we didn’t get to hear much of this, our guests were extremely complimentary and your music was enjoyed by everyone. Thank you for bearing with us in the evening. Alice and I had an absolutely brilliant evening and really enjoyed dancing the night away. Stargazers was everything we wanted and much, much more! You were so kind with the bridesmaids and my nephew who joined in the Bandeoke. They felt so special and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our guests loved every minute of it! You played a fantastic mix of songs which got everyone up and dancing for the whole evening. We have never danced so much but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! "

"We hired John and his band as a quintet for our wedding and what a wonderful choice. The guys travelled to the New Forest for us for our big day. Superb sound and multi talented. They provided a substantive song list to choose from plus a couple of extra requests. They had everyone up and rocking. Wonderful Irish sound and a memorable singalong to ‘Dirty Old Town’ to more modern music. On top of that lovely guys with a warm personality who really looked like they enjoyed performing. Recommended for any event. Many thanks for helping our day memorable. Paul and Jo"

"Saturday went really well. The band were great and the client was delighted - both with the sets the band played and the backing for when Laurie sang! The additional half an hour playing was also really appreciated. Also, during the planning stage, the time that was spent re-assuring and working with Laurie ready for her solo was great. From our point of view it was lovely to work with such a nice band, very easy going and flexible when timings and plans changed on site. The music was briliant, the vocalists were amazing too. All in all a resounding success - so thank you very much. Hopefully we’ll be working with you all again soon."

""Thank you to Helen and the Band for being part of our magical day. They really helped make it perfect. There was great communication before the day and the band’s repertoire is amazing. We made a few tweeks to the set list they proposed just to keep all the family happy! The day itself, the band arrived with plenty of time and although we had a small space, discreetly set up. When the music started it brought guests in to listen and dance even on a hot day! The atmosphere was great and they are really talented musicians. As I speak to friends and family after our wedding there are so many comments on how great the band was and considering some of them are in bands themselves this is a great compliment. Once again thank you so much for making the evening part of the wedding so much fun - I really am trying to plan another party where the band can play again!! "

"I just wanted to write to say an absolutely huge thank you to you and the rest of the band for your absolutely superb performance at my 50th birthday do last weekend . Since then, I have had so many messages saying that was the best party people have ever been to! I honestly can’t thank you all enough for making it so special for us all, you were absolutely bloody fantastic – managed to get even the most reluctant dancers up on the floor and thank you also for playing for so long!! You must have been knackered! You all surpassed my expectations in every way and really made the party one that everyone will remember for a long time …. lots of friends have asked for your details so hope you get some more bookings from it. Thank you so much again, some friends and I are looking forward to coming down the Blue Lagoon on Christmas Eve to see you all play again."

"Jay and the band were really, really incredible. I honestly cannot say enough good things about them on the night (and beforehand too!). We loved their play list, their whole energy and they just sounded great. I want to get the video back so I can listen to snippets of them playing again. Helen, thank you so much for all your help all the way through – it’s been amazing working with you and I cannot tell you how much we appreciate it! Our day was so incredible – we just want it all over again."

"The Arrival have successfully worked with Peterlee Town Council since 2008, performing at the Peterlee Show and Town Twinning events (including the Stadtfest in Germany). These talented young musicians never fail to wow the audience with their lively and enthusiastic performances, which we have seen to be uniquely and very cleverly re-shaped to acoustic level, accommodating every genre and taste!! Miss 'The Arrival' and you miss a very special performance!"
