"Gareth could not have been more helpful and professional from our first 'planning' meeting to the very end of his entertaining playing at our reception. He certainly went the extra mile to make sure we had the music we wanted. He played the organ in the Church for the wedding ceremony and then rushed off to the reception and lunch venue to play the piano for our gathering guests. My husband is something of a jazz fan and so got on famously with Gareth and they both seemed to enjoy talking through the music we would have throughout the day - Gershwin, Stan Getz and lots in between. Having music at the reception was perfect - it wasn't at all 'wallpaper' but nor was it intrusive which is a very clever trick to pull off! It lifted the whole event to a new level. Thank you Gareth for helping to make our special day such a success - we were perhaps an unusual couple having a combined age over 150 but that didn't mean we were not keen to have lots of fun and smiles and the music was an important part of making this come true! "Gareth recently played for my mother's memorial service. He was a complete joy to work with, taking everything we asked him to do within his stride, managing to play quite a wide reportoire beautifully on a not very good organ, incorporating the music mum had written into the service with great feeling and understanding, and even managing to turn 16 people who had never sung together before into a choir in just one rehearsal on the day. His incredible musicality shines through everything he does and it was wonderful to not have to worry at all, knowing that the musical side of things was so beautifully cared for. Could not recommend him highly enough. "

"Mark was fantastic, spent a lot of time in advance of the wedding helping us decide song choices and ordering, right through to the ceremony itself where the music was simply incredible. I’d always dreamed of having an organ in the church and Mark enabled us to achieve exactly that. He played a mix of classic and more modern songs which gave the perfect balance. Mark then stayed and played the piano in our wedding breakfast, this was a fantastic set where lots of guests commented on the wonderful songs he played. Mark was fantastic, a true professional and would highly recommend. "

"Gareth was brilliant for our wedding. He emailed all the options and took the time to come and meet for coffee and discuss further. We really appreciated his considerable experience and that he took the time to come and get to know a little bit about us. He helped us choose the wedding songs and hymns and suggested where to place them in the service. He also proof read our order of service prior to printing. On the day the music was more than we could have ever wished for and lovely, energetic hymns. Anyone looking for a real professional with vast experience who goes the extra mile to make your occasion really special should book this amiable and talented guy. Thanks G - you made our day."

"We contacted Laurence through this site to play during our ceremony at Stoke Park Pavilions. He was extremely helpful and accommodating, going out of his way to play the songs that we wanted and accompanying the Bride's Soprano Mother whilst she sang a song for us. We cannot recommend him enough and our only regret is not having the opportunity to say thank you after the ceremony (photographs etc etc). So thank you Laurence, many of our guests commented on your superb playing."

"Mark went above and beyond by learning new songs to make the day more magical. He followed all of our requests. He promptly responded to all emails/ messages and was very pleasant to speak to. He was professional and very talented on the day. I couldn't of asked for anything more. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him! An absolute pleasure to have him play on our wedding day. "

"Can't thank mark enough, we forgot to book anyone to play the organ for our wedding untill 2days before the big day, I contacted mark and he went out of his way to make sure our day was perfect, if I could rate you more than a ten mark I would, you saved our day and you were amazing, thank you so much "

"Mark played at our wedding reception at the Belvedere Restaurant in Holland Park on Saturday 21st June. He provided the guests with a great repertoire of music, played at the right speed and sound. A perfect accompaniment to the evening. Not only did he play a list of songs that we requested but also intermingled these with other complimentary tunes. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone looking for a wedding musician."

"Mark played at our wedding ceremony in Cambridge. Despite some last minute issues with the chapel organ, Mark was very accommodating in proposing an alternative plan (bringing his own digital organ to the chapel). He was able to meet all of our song requests, and did a fantastic job on the day. The sound quality and playing made for a brilliant accompaniment to such a special moment. "

"From start to finish, Mark was absolutely incredible. We hired Mark to play at our wedding, alongside a choir that he had never performed with before, and his performance was amazing. He kept in touch with us throughout and helped us to work out what would work best for our ceremony. The result was fantastic and we had so many compliments about the music during our ceremony. "Des has played in our Village church on several occasions now ... including a wedding and services with small and large congregations. His sensitivity and versatility enable him to perfectly meet the musical needs of any occasion. His encouraging and lively style made even a congregation of 14 feel to be part of a larger lively congregation; and his subtle use of his jazz background makes a traditional service sound fresh and exciting.
