"The Blue Suede Shoes made my 30th birthday. The lads were great, playing laid back tunes together with a bit of banter over the microphone. The set list catered to everyone, and they were flexible in taking a few ad hoc requests on the night. The organisation before hand was timely and delivered exactly as promised – I would definitely recommend The Blue Suede Shoes to anyone, and am currently looking for a reason for another party to get them over again."

"House of Chords, Wow… you guys were absolutely amazing!! A massive thank you for playing at our wedding. You created a brilliant party atmosphere with a fantastic variety of upbeat and feel good songs to keep us dancing all night long… including myself (The Bride) who didn’t want to leave the dance floor despite my heels hurting me and my dress being too big… trust me, that is one mean feat! "Hi Ben, it was very much our pleasure to have you and the rest of the band with us on Saturday night. The Blue Suede Shoes went down a storm and were very well received by all of us at the club on the night, simply Ben you “nailed it” and as you know the music played kept the dance floor packed all night. The addition of Baker Street and From the First Moment was terrific and I hope they stay part of your optional play list. I know our Social Committee and next year’s Club Captain are both planning to get in touch for upcoming events so I hope to see and hear you again before too long. The band made a lot of new fans on Saturday night and it was a pleasure to host you and watch my big night take off and become a great success. Many thanks again to you all Regards Bill"

Darinka, it was a pleasure to play for Audrey's party and to organise some of the finer points with you beforehand. As I anticipated, the dreaded sound-limiter didn't create any problems for us. It was delightful to see how the youngest of the party-goers were fascinated by the band and gratifying to get a number of compliments from the adults. "David and the band were brilliant. The booking process was fine and communications beforehand were simple and effective with the minimum of fuss. The band turned up exactly as planned on the day and although we kept them waiting because we were running behind, they accepted it all in good humour and waited patiently to start. Our guests were full of praise for them and loved their originality and musicianship. I just wish that it hadn't been quite so warm in the venue that evening and a few more people had danced along."
