"We absolutely loved having you guys there and you definitely got the atmosphere right. We had a lot of comments that people loved the music during the day so a big thank you for that! Also, our guests LOVED having a band for the ceremony (rather than the traditional harpist or flute players). Our only regret is that we hadn’t booked you guys for longer or for the evening too! But we’ll definitely recommend you to friends and if we can think of a way to hire you again we definitely will! Thanks again ever so much! "

"Sorry it has taken me so long to say a ‘big thank you’ to you and the boys. Yes it was a fabulous night, and what a shame that it was not supported, well it is their loss! Everyone who did come thought how professional you all were, and how much you took so many down memory lane. Yes we will love to have you back again, so when the new year begins, we will make a plan. "They were a huge highlight to our wedding day last weekend. Everyone all night asked us how we found Straight Up and nothing was too much trouble for them! They learnt our first dance song beautifully and were just so lovely to work with. Would 100% book these guys again, thankyou!!! "

"More like full house than housewarming! Friends and relations all said they would pop in during the evening but none went home again! Gary had them all up dancing including my mother who never sat down. She loved dancing to the slow numbers too. Can't wait to move again. Nice one Gary; nice one son!!"

"The Rampart Street Ramblers played a wonderful mix of music at our wedding as guests arrived, mingled and drank at our wedding reception. The weather was not as dry as we'd hoped, so the band moved around to various places around the venue to entertain different groups. Beforehand, Dai called me and was very happy to cater to our specific tastes and needs. So many of our guests told us they were great, and at least one couple have asked for their details for their wedding too. My only disappointment was I didn't get to hear them much as I was being dragged off in all directions. "

"We booked House of Chords for our wedding reception. We were really impressed by how well they played; it was an amazing atmosphere and they chose exactly the right songs to get everyone in the room from children to grandparents dancing! The guys were also really flexible; they even chose our first dance for us when we still hadn’t come up with anything ten minutes before we were supposed to do it! The band really helped make our day special and I would happily recommend them to anyone."
