"If you’re into the 50’s and 60’s music then you’ve got to see this band! The Cat’s Whiskers cover a wide range of pop songs by various artists. The band members including Suzy on Keys vocals, Noel on bass vocals and Jules on rhythm guitar vocals. I saw them perform many times in the past. I have booked them for my 70th birthday party in July 2018. Jean C. "

"I cannot praise these guys highly enough! Chris was brilliant right from the start - great with communication, he worked with me to create a track list that included all our favourite songs, he liaised with our sound technician to ensure everything went smoothly on the day and I had total confidence in him leading up to the wedding. On the day, the band arrived on time and they were absolutely excellent!! Full of energy. We had the full 7-piece band (Singer, Sax, Trumpet, Double Bass, Piano, Electric Guitar & drums) They had everyone up and dancing to the swing, jive and rock n roll. All our guests commented on how good they were. And all this for a very reasonable price. They were excellent! I would absolutely recommend this band and I'm so pleased I chose them!! Thank you Chris and One Jump Ahead. 😊"

Thanks for the great review, Vicky. It was a really fun event, in spite of the uncooperative weather! Some of us (including me) had a bit of trouble finding the campsite but we all made it without too much fuss and thoroughly enjoyed entertaining you and your guests. Just one point. Nobody knows me as Chris. I've always been "Kit" to my family and friends - otherwise people might think I'm a TV wildlife presenter! Let us know if you ever want a goof fun swing/jive band again! - Kit.

"I just wished to drop you a line to check you all got back ok on Saturday and to say a huge thank you, please thank all the band! Your set was absolutely amazing and everyone thought you were fab. One of the hotel staff said you were the best band they had heard in absolutely ages! We are gathering photos and will seek the videos from our friend Jack for you too and will be in touch. "I would definitely recommend They Got The Party to anyone who wants a busy dance floor! They played at our wedding and everyone commented on how great the music was and the fantastic atmosphere. We also requested some of our favourite songs, which they learnt and played on the night - great memories! Thanks again..."

"David and the band were brilliant. The booking process was fine and communications beforehand were simple and effective with the minimum of fuss. The band turned up exactly as planned on the day and although we kept them waiting because we were running behind, they accepted it all in good humour and waited patiently to start. Our guests were full of praise for them and loved their originality and musicianship. I just wish that it hadn't been quite so warm in the venue that evening and a few more people had danced along."

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"The Liabilities played at The Change of Horses in Orpington and I loved them so much I rebooked them the same night and have had them play with us regularly ever since. They pull in a good crowd and they keep our customers entertained all night and most importantly keep them buying drinks! I would highly recommend this band for any one who likes great music and wants to give their customers a night they will remember. The band are very respectful of our premises, turn up promptly and never let us down!"

"A great professional band , who I have booked many times to play our outside stage in our large garden . Tom and the band always entertain our customers and are very popular. Great old and new songs that gets everyone up dancing and singing. Can’t wait for next time ?"
