Review Centre: Christmas Bands

"Apologies for the delay in posting our review. We got married on June 23rd 2022 at a beautiful country Manor House in the Cotswolds and had Stargazers play at our evening reception and they were fantastic! They absolutely smashed it, the room was full of energy and the choice of music was perfect. Not to mention the fact that they are all brilliant musicians. Also, I think they’re quite unique with Phoebe as the vocalist, really sets them apart. Also, we were really happy dealing with Rhona, their manager, through the process, she was very understanding and knew exactly what we wanted, which she helped deliver! Thank you so much for making our wedding night such a party! I would highly recommend! Best wishes!"

"Soul Generations played an acoustic set during our drinks reception followed by a live band set in the evening. They learnt our first dance song (by my baby) and they absolutely nailed it. Everyone was raving how good they were afterwards and so many of our friends want their details to play at their weddings next year. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. "

"Just wanted to let you know that the band were all amazing on the night - we had such a great time and all our guests commented on how impressive the band were - the dance floor was busy all evening. Please would you pass on my thanks as I didn't get a chance to thank them all individually before they left and I really want them to know that they made it all perfect, especially giving up the keyboard for the first song as well! Thanks for all your help in organising everything, it was exactly what we wanted. "

"For the third time "Back2Skool" came to Brightlingsea Scout Groups Classic Car Show and Family Funday, and once again they entertained the crowds as the sun shone down and earned the entertainer badge. They are not to high and mighty that they wont play certain venues and seemed to enjoy the high scaffolding stage challenge, giving a great vantage point and traditional canvas throw together "scouting" roof. This was our 14th annual show and the third time they have played, HOWEVER this is the first time i remember that every single chair in the bar area has been turned round to face the stage and people were waiting for them to start. Booking was really easy and and Tracy has a great sense of humour and a pleasure to deal with. Don't think about booking them... book them. Will i be using them again....do cub / scout wear scarves and earn badges?"

"I loved this act the first time I saw them at a summer event in Sandwich. Shortly after this we decided they would be the ideal act for our 50th wedding anniversary that we started to plan. They were perfect. Firstly they are excellent singers, but they are also very nice people who want to make your experience as good as it can be. My guests all commented on how good they were. If I ever needed live entertainment again, I would without doubt book The Dulcet Tones."

"These ladies proved perfect for our 1940's themed cruises, entertaining our passengers with a great range of wartime and big band standards, with frequent changes of costumes and great audience interaction. A delightful trio of ladies who were more than happy to change set lists and performance times throughout the day according to the needs of the ship. Their day with us ended in passengers dancing and joining in a full throated sing- a - long to much acclaim. One of the most entertaining and versatile groups I have used in 40 years of running cruises, we have received strong positive feedback from our passengers, and will be booking Angie and her trio again in 2025 for another 40s themed cruises. "Lucy performed everything from our ceremony music to the evening and it was absolutely incredible and loved by all! Any request was never too much to do and her personal music we loved! "MIB band took over international awards gala dinner to a new level. From the opening ‘Buddha Bar’ sax set during the welcome reception, to live walk-up music through to a sensational dance act followed by a ‘must-dance’ set by the full band, everyones experience was enhanced by our choice of band."

"Groove Time were excellent! In the build up to the event Matt was in touch regularly to make sure everything was going according to plan, and was easily contactable if needed. On the night they adjusted their set list to suit the party theme that we had which was very much appreciated. Once Groove Time started playing the dance floor was full until they finished. Everybody loved them! Brilliant band who contributed so much to make party the success that it was!"
