"The band - turned up on time but the room wasn't ready for them and so had some time restraints to get set up and ready. They were very professional and pleasant. We had some great feedback from our guests on their set list as well as overall sound and look. We would highly recommend them to anyone for any occasion (I'm getting married in October and if I hadn't already booked a band After Dark would be my first choice!"

"We absolutely loved having the Ebor Quartet play at our wedding ceremony. Communications in the lead up to the day were very professional and Conor was incredibly accommodating. They had an extensive set list for us to choose from - from classical pieces to more modern classics - and even agreed to add a new piece to their repertoire for me to walk down the aisle to. We received many compliments from our guests about how special it was to have a string quartet playing - they really were a perfect addition to our day and we’d thoroughly recommend them. Thank you all again :)"

"Oh my gosh, the band were just absolutely fantastic. We had so many compliments about how talented they are and everyone loved the energy they brought to the day! The communication with Ian was brilliant from start to finish, he got back to you so quickly. Also helping to pick various songs for different parts of the wedding when we didn’t have a clue. He was also really helpful on the day- from carrying my dress to moving the crowd to the right place, nothing was too much trouble. The band also made sure to play everyone’s favourite songs we sent over - they loved it! You definitely won’t regret picking these guys ."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / Claire’s 60th Birthday / May 2025 Black Velvet Trio were absolutely perfect for the barn dance we hosted. The trio were cool, calm and professional in their ability to literally herd cats! They were able to bring a huge smile to every face which was always my wish. The musicians were brilliant at just playing wonderful barn dance music whilst we laughed and bumped and crashed about with our two and sometimes three left feet.Our last (came too quick) dance was the Swiss Roll. We all loved it and would be so happy to have Black Velvet Trio back to do it all again."

"Arrived on time and had set up as instructed. Dress code was very good and very appropriate for my father's funeral. The capability of the duo was excellent, and was played with feeling, all round was excellent, couldn't fault them."

"We first saw Paddy K live in an après bar in France and had the most incredible night—his set was unforgettable. As soon as my husband and I got engaged, we knew we had to reach out to see if he could play at our wedding, and it was honestly the best decision we made. Paddy K was kind enough to sing our first dance, which made the moment even more special. He and the band had everyone up on their feet dancing all night, and we received so many lovely comments from our guests about how amazing the live set was. "I booked Gemma & Phil to perform at my daughters wedding. They went above and beyond our expectations. Gemma learnt a list of chosen songs for the special day and sang them all beautifully. All our guests were passing compliments at how fabulous she was! I would highly recommend, beautiful voice and absolutely lovely girl. Thank you so much!"
